Pam Simmons says: My name is Pam Simmons and I am a third grade teacher at North Pontotoc Elementary in Mississippi. We are in the process of hosting a school-wide talent show (K-12) and are trying to base it on the American Idol show. We are looking for ideas for recognition of the winners, or any recommendations for prizes at the end of this competition.

Last nights show was incredible. Although the performance of Jennifer Lopez was to adult and out of place for the rest of the show. She definitely wasn't a class act like the rest of the show. Many parents explaining to their children today. Poor example on her part!! That's why she works in Las Vegas! Not for families!!

Wow! So this fluff show has been on for a total of 15 years?! Never been into fluff shows, my girl is. Thought was watching 2 talented people compete, guess not. Even my girl is tired of the fluff show. Good bye, thankfully the fluff show is not wasting my precious viewing time anymore.

J-Lo! You used to sing! Tonight's performance was lacking in vocals and in taste. The dance moves were straight off a stripper pole. What happened to the talent? So sorry. So sad.

Why are the singers being critiqued for.song choices that they did not get to select? Feel so.bad for Dalton and Mackenzie. ..All of the songs seem out of date. Who is putting this stuff together? Obviously, these young singers should have the.best mentors helping them.

I am a big fan of American Idol; however, tonight's episode with
Kelly Clarkson's appearance on the panel was difficult for me to watch. It seemed that Ms. Clarkson was attempting to overshadow Keith and Jennifer, whose experience and talents are, in my opinion, vast and greatly exceed Ms. Clarkson's.
I appreciate the opportunity to voice my opinion.

I think a big mistake was made when
Stephany Negrete was eliminated from the competition! Every year the wrong people are chosen to go on to the final 24. I think she was one of the best in the competition.
