American Standard is an American company involved in the manufacturing operations of plumbing fixtures. The corporate headquarters of the company is situated in Piscataway, New Jersey, United States. There is a great variety of products manufactured by the company that includes bathing fixtures, bidets, kitchen faucets, toilet seats, urinals, walk-in bathtubs, commercial faucets, bath shower faucets, and many more. The company operates as the wholly owned subsidiary of Lixil Group, which is a Japanese manufacturing company based in Tokyo, Japan. In 2015, the company was ranked on the first position in the list of “Brand Familiarity” by the Builder Magazine in the bathroom accessories category.
In addition to the United States, the company also sell their products in Canada and Mexico. The slogan of the company is “American Standard, Raising the Standard”.
American Standard History
The company was established in 2007 when the American Standard Companies decided to split their business into three divisions. In 2011, they donated more than 1,500 plumbing fixtures and related accessories to SBP as a contribution to the Hurricane Katrina.
