Ryan Seacrest is 44 years old American television and radio personality known for hosting the popular competition show, American Idol and the KIIS-FM (commercial FM radio station) morning radio show, On-Air with Ryan Seacrest.
He is also co-hosting an American syndicated morning talk show, Live with Kelly and Ryan for which he has received a nomination in the category of Outstanding Talk Show Entertainment and Outstanding Talk Show Host in 2018.
Early Life
Ryan was born on 24th December 1974 in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States as Ryan John Seacrest to Constance Marie and Gary Lee Seacrest. He was raised in the family of a real estate lawyer father and a homemaker mother.
He attended Dunwoody High School where he received an internship at WSTR (FM) in Atlanta with Tom Sullivan getting details about every aspect of radio.
He then attended the University of Georgia in 1992 to major in journalism.
At the same time, he also continued to go for a radio show at the local Athens station.
He soon realized his capability and made a move towards Hollywood to pursue his career.
Career
In the mid-1990s, he moved to Los Angeles, California to start with a popular afternoon radio show, Ryan Seacrest for the Ride Home, which lasted until 2014 but his career took off after hosting American Idol in 2002.
In 2003, he started with a syndicated program, On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, on commercial FM radio station KIIS-FM. He also took over as a host of American Top 40.
On television, he first stepped up as a host of Radical Outdoor Challenge on ESPN and for kids show named Click in the 1990s.
In 2002, he landed for his major television job in a competition show American Idol until the longtime show ended its run on Fox in 2016.
This was the time when he turned out to be the most wanted host to cover entertainment events and as a news anchor for the E! television network.
In 2005, he worked with Dik Clark on his annual New Year’s Eve Special, Dik Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
In 2012, he covered the 2012 Summer Olympics as a part of an agreement with NBC Universal in London. In 2017, he joined as co-host on ABC’s Live with Kelly and Ryan, alongside Kelly Ripa.
The show American Idol returned back on ABC in March 2018 offering Ryan to host it again.

He was previously in a relationship with Julianne Hough, a professional dancer in 2010 but both split up in 2013. He at present is in a relationship with Shayna Taylor, a model since 2017.
