Chris Evans was born on 13th June 1981 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States as Christopher Robert Evans to Lisa and G. Robert Evans III.
He was raised in the town of Sudbury attending Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School and getting graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. The family environment brought his interest in painting as his mother used to work as an artistic director at the Concord Youth Theater whereas the father is a dentist.

He also has a younger brother Scott and two sisters; Carl and Shanna. During his early years of acting, he moved to New York to attend classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute but before that he used to act in school plays. His interests include; watching American football, reading and listening to classic rock music.
Beginning of career in acting and fame
In 1997, Chris made his first debut in an educational video under title Biodiversity: Wild About Life! He next got the role of Tyler as a model in Hasbro's board game Mystery Date in 1999 but his first major role came in movie, Not Another Teen Movie (2001).
Later, he acted in several TV series and films like The Perfect Score (2004), Cellular (2004) and Fantastic Four (2005) before moving on to the stardom role of Captain America.
The early films established his reputation as a credible actor which got showcased in the film, Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), thus proving his mettle.
Aside from his superhero image he has also worked for films like Street Kings and The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond in 2008. In 2010 he went for two movies, The Losers, and the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
In 2011 there came the American superhero film, Captain America: The First Avenger which was produced by Marvel Studios. Chris played the comic character of Captain America/Steve Rogers in the movie.
The movie became a commercial hit on the box office by earning a profit of $370.6 million.
He further got reprised for the role in further series as the movies reached to massive hit worldwide establishing him as the quintessential Marvel comic superhero. He also portrayed the same character for the 2012 film The Avengers.
In 2014, he worked in a romantic comedy film, Before We Go further starring in family drama Gifted in 2017.
He also made his Broadway debut with Lobby Heroin 2018 and is recently working on a murder mystery movie, Knives Out which is planned to get released in November 2019.
