The American artist mainly sings country music, country pop and country rock which makes her one of the best country musicians in history. After winning the fourth season of American Idol in 2005, Carrie became famous and her music tracks started selling greatly.
Her single track, "Inside Your Heaven", made her be the only country artist to be ranked at number one on Billboard Hot 100 chart and the only single country artist in the 2000s to have her song ranked first on the Billboard Hot 100.
1. Early Life
On March 10, 1983, Carrie Marie Underwood was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma in the US to Steve and Carole Underwood.
She had two elder sisters, Stephanie and Shanna. Carrie Underwood spent her childhood near the rural town of Checotah on her parent's farm.
While his father worked in a paper mill, her mother taught at an elementary school. At the age of five, she was detected with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and was prescribed Ritalin and Dexedrine, drugs which she still uses as an adult.
In her childhood, Carrie performed at many shows and also sang at her local church.
2. Personal life
Carrie Underwood was officially married to Mike Fisher, an NHL player in 2010 after two years of dating, since 2008. The couple was then blessed with their firstborn son in 2015. After having three miscarriages in a year, Carrie was blessed with another son in 2019.
Carrie currently resides with her husband, Fisher in a cottage outside of Nashville, Tennessee, in the U.S. after selling their mansion that sat on eleven acres, next to Ottawa Canada. Carrie Underwood is a Christian by faith and also loves animals.
This makes her a vegetarian as well. She also loves sports which in which she has always participated in most of sports events like the annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball tournament.
3. Other Endeavors
Apart from music, Carrie Underwood has made a lot of endorsements throughout her career. In collaboration with Dick’s Sporting Goods, she released a fitness clothing line in March 2015, which she named CALIA.
She has also signed multimillion deals with companies like Nintendo, Sketchers, Target, Olay, Nicole by OPI, Almay and Hershey’s.
Apart from product endorsements, Carrie also established the Checotah Anil Town, and School Foundation in 2009 which, she uses to support arts education and animal welfare.

Carrie has written and sang so many songs including, Inside Your Heaven, Jesus Take the Wheel, Some Hearts, etc.
She also does acting as a profession. In March 2010, she appeared on “How I Met Your Mother” where she played the role of Tiffany, a medical sales representative who reforms a relationship with Ted.
Carrie has since acted so many movies after that with the latest one being NBC’s “The Sound of Music Live” where she played the role of Maria von Trapp.
