About Sree Santh
Sree Santh is 35 years old former Indian cricketer who is well known for playing from Kerala state as a Ranji player in Twenty20 cricket for India.
He has the skill of being the right-arm fast-medium pace bowler and a right-handed tail-ender batsman in the cricket game.
He is also an actor who is making his first debut through the upcoming movie Big Picture and is now a contestant on the controversial television reality show Bigg Boss season 12 on Colors TV.
Early Life
Sree Santh was born on 6th November 1983 in Kothamangalam, Kerala, India as Shanthakumaran Sreesanth to Santhakumaran Nair and Savithri Devi.
He is the youngest child in the family with two elder sisters and one elder brother.
The family has a well-established status in society with elder sister Nivedita working as a television actress in Kerala and other sister Divya got married to famous South Indian playback singer Madhu Balakrishnan.
His elder brother is also joined with the entertainment industry as he owns a music company in Kochi.
In education, he passed 11th standard from Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Elamakara, Kochi and also won the title of being the champion in a dance competition at 8th standard.
He loved cricket and started being a leg-spinner following the footsteps of Anil Kumble’s action.
Later on his elder brother’s advice, he turned to fast bowling and soon emerged as one of the leading fast bowlers in the domestic and national circuits.
He is 180 cm tall and is a fitness freak. His eyes color is dark brown and hairs are black.
Career
Sree Santh used to love the cricket game since childhood and was famous for being one of the aggressive cricketers on the ground.
He started playing cricket as a leg-spinner and then turned out to mainstream fast-bowler. His career in the game was short but inspired a lot many budding bowlers of the sport.
He made his debut in domestic cricket in 2002-03 against Goa. The real fame came when he made a hat-trick playing against Himachal Pradesh in Ranji Trophy and got selected to India B for the Challenger Trophy in 2005.
The made to the title of Man of the Series and next earned a selection in the National team for ODI series against Sri Lanka in 2005.
He took 87 test wickets, 75 ODI wickets, and 7 T20 wickets. He also played for Kings XI Punjab getting drafted to Rajasthan Royals.
He played in total 44 IPL matches getting 40 wickets but made a headline by being involved in spot-fixing along with Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan in 2013 getting banned for a lifetime for playing cricket by BCCI.
At present, he is a contestant in a reality show on Colors TV, Bigg Boss 12.
Personal Life
Sree Santh got married to Bhuvneshwari Kumari in 2013. Both were seeing each other before tying the knot.
Bhuvneshwari Kumari is the daughter of Hirendra Singh Shekhawat and Muktha Singh.
Both are parents of two kids; a daughter Sree Sanvika Sreesanth and a son Suryasree Sreesanth.
