Janet Acdkins look says: I enjoy the show mostly due to the way the program is arranged and the guests. I do wish Gayle King would pay attention to her hair. Her dress needs attention too. There are seasons on the East coast, she doesn't appear to pay attention to them. In fact, her clothes appear to be inexpensive and not professional. Maybe a professional dresser for a while. I'm surprised her girlfriend hasn't suggested this. She looks more like the little local newscaster not national, worldwide.

it anymore, because the head of CBS is blocking

I live in a rural area of a poor county in Pennsylvania!
Even if Direct TV can negotiate a deal, it will raise my
price and I won't be able to afford it. shame on CBS

Dolores Montgomery Halbin says: Thank you for covering at least one aspect of medical Marijuana on the Morning Show with the NFL. This is a much bigger story, and sadly, if the story doesn't get told now, children will continue to die, veterans will continue to commit suicide or go to jail for self medicating.
Israel and Canada now use Cannabis Medicine first for Veterans with PTSD. Israel sponsored the World Medical Cannabis Conference last September. It is ironic and tragic that the US subsidizes Israel's Military, thus paying for their Cannabis treatment but incarcerated our Veterans for using Cannabis.
And for all our sakes, Please ask Gayke King to quit calling Cannabis "Pot" and "Weed". These are stereotypes from the 60s and incredibly insensitive and insulting to our patients, especially our veterans.

Why would you choose him? He doesn't finish anything (his degree), he owes money to his college, he thinks he is entitled to a degree just because, and he left his wife and two children. Oh, and he needs a haircut and a shave. This is the person you choose to report on? He is a perfect example of today's lazy, entitled generation. Issue of hearing low voices in movie

Posted on Nov 26, 2016 at 10:12 PM

Twila Lcosh says: Hello,
Good morning to you, the main reason I am writing is that I saw Erik Davis on the show this morning, November 26th. I wrote him a letter a few minutes ago. Is there a way to contact movie makers to voice a complaint on the fact that the volume in all digital movies today makes it hard to hear the conversation between two main characters especially if the conversation is an intimate one. Example; we saw "Allied" last night at a theater. The two main characters are spies. They whispered and talked in low voices a lot and not only did my husband and I not hear important dialogue, neither did the other movie goers. (because I asked) who do we contact so that movie goes voices are heard, whether the main characters are heard or not. I have asked all age ranges and it is a problem for everyone.

A number of years ago, we made the decision to watch only your news broadcast feeling that only you, Norah and Charlie offer news coverage for 'adults'. But as we prepare to sit down to thanksgiving dinner I have to write to you and ask why aren't you covering Standing Rock? A young women lost her arm in peaceful protest just a day or two ago and still nothing from major media. Please find a way to report on this. We think the world of all of you and know that your hands may be tied with corporate oil interests but people are fighting for water and land rights owed.

Anne willis says: After watching CBS This Morning coverage of the Dakota protests. I was dismayed at the bias of the coverage. There was a single injury reported on air about a police officer being hit with a rock. No coverage at all of the protestors and what the police were doing. Rubber bullets are causing head injuries, eyes lost, and a Gothamist account on November, 22 of a NYC activist gravely injured by a concussion bomb. Your coverage is biased and wrong.

Wendy Sturdevant says: To Gayle King,
I got a dressing down today from President elect Trump along with George S. and other media outlets for your biased coverage and ridiculous over reaction to Mr. Trump winning the election. I am from CT and watched you when you reported the news there. You were a no talent newscaster then and you are a no talent newscaster now. If you did not have a relationship with Oprah Winfrey you would be no where. Hope you have a back-up plan because you are one of the reasons why your morning show is dead last in the ratings.

Greg Plantz says: I find it disheartening that today no mention of the President elect "firing squad meeting" was made on CBS Morning Show. Seems to me a pretty significant news item was ignored. Certainly hope CBS isn't going to be swayed with what the impending administration wants reported as opposed to what should be reported. I watch CBS each morning. Probably will now have to become more discerning and see what other networks are reporting to get complete news coverage. It was very disappointed.

Anne Willis says: Your coverage on Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23, of the Dakota Pipeline protests, is not only incomplete, but completely biased. When describing the violence happening there, it seemed only a police officer got hurt, and protesters only got hit with water. This is false. The coverage of the blocked bridge is incomplete, and the coverage of the fires completely misrepresents them. Police (goons really) fired rubber bullets on the peaceful protestors. There are reports from medical staff there that there are head injuries to protestors, including a lost eye. Fires were lit to keep wet protestors from freezing and hypothermia, not as weapons in the protest, as your show suggests. Also, the blocking of the bridge is a great inconvenience and danger to all communities in the area as it blocks a more direct route to services, forcing all residents of the area into a 20 mile detour to get over the river.
I am very disappointed in the coverage of your show on this topic, as I am on many topics. Your show has clear bias and is not an example of journalistic integrity.

If it was played back they wouldn't have that problem and wouldn't have to raise the age of worker. It is sad to see older people barely making ends meet and pay in all those year just to have a bunch of nobles. Government representative who get whatever they need by voting it for themselves. Recently CBS News has failed in all these areas as it only portrays and focuses more on leftist name-calling. Gayle King accusation to Bill O'Reilly that he was uncivil in regard to when he was presenting about the children's book, was on called for an uncivil in itself. I have watched Bill O'Reilly for years and he is always civil even when he is agitated or disagrees. He gives both sides voice, more than I can say for CBS News. Gayle King owes him and on the air apology. Since CBS News no longer covers the areas of interest, I will stop watching.

Greg says: You keep speaking of President Obama's legacy, what legacy? Talking about media

Gloria Floyd says: The reason Hillary Clinton won the popular vote is directly attributable to the news media, the late night comedians, and high profile celebrities. These people campaigned 24/7 for Hillary Clinton, casting her in the most favorable light possible, and railed against Donald Trump, casting him in the worst possible light. This is the only reason she received the popular vote. The problem now is that the news media is so disgruntled that they couldn't get Hillary elected that they are doing everything in their power to see that Donald Trump continues to be cast in the worst possible light in. The bias, liberal news media will sacrifice the success of this country to get revenge on the new President. How sad is that? America desperately needs a Commander-in-Chief who is a pragmatist. We have had an administration which spent more money than all the Presidents in American history. We cannot continue in that direction, and it would be beneficial if the news media were on track with getting America on the path to goal rather that throwing up road blocks to keep America from becoming successful.

Debra Angton says: With all the talk of opioid addiction, leaves me terribly concerned about the future of those of us who aren't abusing and are using prescriptions as prescribed due to our truly apparent need. I am disabled, with both knees. I experience more severe pain during monsoon season and at very low temperatures. I take hydrocodone. Without this med, the measure of pain I and others like me could be inhumane. Are we going to be kicked to the curb, with less consideration than animals to solve this problem? No one discusses that. I am sure I write for many.

Sarah Mercier says: It is Thursday, November 17th, and I just watched your segment at 8 o'clock about opiate abuse rising. In the segment no one mentions the patients that are in pain and are taking opioids responsibly. Millions of people in the United States including me are in chronic pain and taking the medication as prescribed. I am 29 and have had 2 unsuccessful back surgeries leaving me in chronic pain 24/7. I felt insulted that no one seemed to mention the people requiring medication. In all reality it helps millions of us daily get through the chronic pain. I think that should have been mentioned instead of just all bad news about opioids.

P Cheatum says: I am not a Trump fan but I am frustrated with mainstream news. For the past several months, I have listened to the one sided rhetoric put out by ABC, NBC and CBS. My friends and I have pretty much stopped listening to ABC and NBC. The biased agenda is obvious to everyone even to non-Trump fans. We thought CBS wasn't quite as bad as the others but this morning when the issue of Ivank Trump's bracelet was brought up, it was the last straw. Really? With all that is going on in our country, why would you spend even five seconds discussing a braclet. Don't you get it yet? People don't care about things like that. Apparently it is important to mainstream one-sided news reporters but we now know how in touch they are with people in this country. If you had a few seconds to waste, why not focus on something positive instead of a braclet worn by someone you obviously cannot stand. My friends and I are now turning off CBS. We realize this won't make any difference to you but had to have our say.

I watched CBS Morning show this morning (wed) and heard your comment regarding Ivan's Trump's jewelry. You had questioned what was wrong with the issue. As you know, Ivan is now a member of the transition team and her businesses, as well as Trump's are a massive conflict of interest. I would highly recommend watching Tuesday's Rachel Maddow show as she explained the issue in detail. It is a shame what she so eloquently states night after night is not reiterated on mainstream programs such as the one you co-host. I watch your program, every chance I get as I feel it is one of the most honest news programs on network TV. Kudos to you, Norah and Charlie for a sound and very interesting news program.

You commented that you didn't get it but you failed to mention that promotion of the bracelet appeared on the President elect bracelet and also appeared on a government web site.

It has been removed following protests but clearly there was blatant disregard for separating their businesses from the responsibilities they about to have.

After that and feeling as if we the people might get good information, well boy I was wrong. I turn on the news this morning to hear Gayle talking about the popular vote still going to Clinton. My god have you not looked at your map that you are showing and seeing that you all have not marked Michigan for Trump? With all vote in at this point, Trump has won the popular vote. Quit letting your interns make you look stupid. Get your own facts. Relying on someone else does not always make you all look good. If the truth was out maybe it would end all of these riots and protest in our street and give this country a chance to heal.

Karen Mamalakis says: You people are truly pathetic and that is why the American people understand the media nastiness. In accordance to your show on Monday morning Hillary Clinton has 228 elect oral boats and truck has 289 which equals 517. Bernie Sanders is upset with his changing the electoral votes. That will never happen because our founding fathers had more brains than all of you. The people will never allow change or make an amendment to the constitution as stupid as that? All of the votes are not in and this will happen when the ballots are completely counted. Electoral votes will add up to 538 which will send Trump over 300. The final tally is not 517 so you people better wake up. Lynn Starkey says: I am commenting on Norah's attack on Bill O'Reilly this morning. I think she was so wrong as a reporter to go after him pertaining to a book someone else had written. He was honest in answering that he did not care to talk on that book. She kept after him in a manner he had to defend himself.

She left James Patterson sitting there in a dazed state when O'Reilly and Patterson had come to the interview together to promote a children's book written to help kids become better people.

Reality is that it is interviews like this where the reporter is looking for dirt and is continuing the division of people here in this land.

I love CBS This Morning and think it stands far above the other two morning shows, except in cases like Norah created this. She was wrong and she needs to apologize to Bill O'Reilly and Patterson for taking the spotlight away from their new book. She does not look very professional after this incident.

CR Arnold says: I have recorded and/or watched CBS This Morning for years. After seeing how you are showing favorable clips of Hillary on Election Day, then showing the most negative reruns of Donald. I will never watch your program again. I used to love CNN. Stopped watching them for being so biased, also.

Linda Tower says: At 65 years old, I am a lifelong watcher. Today, I finally write to let you know that I will watch and log on to other stations. Your coverage of these 18 months election coverage has been anything but equal news. It is continually bent to Donald Trump. Even as of this morning on election day, you put Trump's son on. You have never provided equal coverage for all candidates. This is the 1st time in all my years.

Shame on you, Charlie Rose and shame on CBS.

Yet our Republican candidate for President of the United States is openly lewd, sexually aggressive, sexist, and inappropriate and is gaining in the polls. What is wrong with this picture? David Frame says: To the anchors and writers of the CBS This Morning show,

Anchors, writers, and prodcers of the show, you all leave out many of the FBI'S investigation. It's really sad the station you all work for either skip or intentionally mislead the public about how much trouble Hillary Clinton is really in. It's not Jim Comey's fault Clinton setup a server in her basement and tried to skirt the law siting that all State Dept. employees have to turn over all information during their tenure.

As Trump predicted, Aberdeen shared 650,000 emails from Hillary's server to Anthony Weiner's laptop. You all never report that, shame on you?

I stopped watching CBS after Charlie Rose lied to the public about Ben Carson. He and you other two anchors leave out so much of the Clinton's corruption. The pay for play operation between Hillary's State Department and the Clinton Global Initiative is not a truth. She is in real trouble and you all won't report it. Its time for you anchors to be fired.

I am not a Trump supporter, but I will not vote for someone who has made millions off the backs of the American public.

Linda McNabb says: Hello, I would like to connect with Gayle King because I believe her to be a caring empowered woman. At the age of 13, I was gang raped by a group of young men at a church dance. I am now 59. After a very self-destructive younger adulthood including drugs, alcohol, sex, suicidal depression and even a brief period of prostitution, I slowly began getting the help I needed. I am now living a life that benefits myself and others. I used the event as a teaching that has empowered me to be a part of the solution to end sexual assault. I recently composed a letter to my rapists with wisdom and clarity. They will probably never read it since I don't even know all of their identities. I wrote it for me. This letter has insights and wisdom that has the potential to be of benefit to many others who have been sexually assaulted, which especially addresses why a person who has been assaulted may not be able to report it at the time. If you feel this is relevant and could be of benefit to your audience then please contact me.

Sincerely yours,
Linda McNabb

Rita Ennas says: I feel that people on the morning show, Charlie Rose, GayleKing and Norah O'Donnell are too prejudice concerning the Presidential elections. Trump's property gets destroyed and they react as "Oh Well", things regarding Clinton get blown over with the people expected that. While on the air these people need to keep their personnel opinions to themselves, remember ratings can always change.

RE: This a.m. bite of the tiger "attacking" the woman.

First and foremost, an animal is born with inherent reactions to its enviorment. To beat this animal for behaving accordingly to its instincts is appalling and, to hear your anchors "giggle" and give "at-a-boys" to these people is horrifying. This was nothing more than animal terrorism. Great reporting.

Talking about broadcast regarding voting

J Higley says: Why aren't you reporting the story on the voting problem in Texas where the person voted for Donald Trump ticket and the voting machine marked the Hillary Clinton ticket? I have heard this on another news channel but not on CBS? Also you reported that there was more released from Wikileaks but you didn't report any of the information? Isn't it important to report all of the news even if it isn't benefiting the Clinton ticket? I have not decided who I am voting for but I expect the news channels to be complete in their reporting. This information could have an effect on the voting. Is that why you have chosen not to report this important information?

Shirleen Rodriguez says: Please let Gayle, Nora and Charlie know that if you take a picture of yourself and your ballot after casting it, then it could be used as proof of casting as your vote for someone that bought your vote. That is why they make it illegal in some states and confusing others.

Suzanne says:

This morning Gayle questioned the reason for laws restricting selfies or photos in voting booths, and conferred with Nora and Charlie. The anchors seemed to have missed the point, as featured in the piece, which is to prevent buying votes or voter control or persuasion. Imagine if someone threatened a voter or offered money to vote for a specific candidate, but required "photographic proof" the voter complied in order to receive payment. This restriction would make it more difficult to do.

Your god Hillary is a destroyer and clearly a fugitive from justice. Congratulations on hiring and keeping Gayle King on the air as it is a major EOE achievement. It displayed how these were used to show and influence many beliefs positive/negative, good/evil etc. I was appalled that the end of the segment stating "evil/bad" was a sticker of (Hillary) which was displayed for much longer than any other sticker. Frank says: I have watched your show CBS This Morning from its inception but can no longer do so. Today's piece on Keith Lamont Scott just brought your completely leftist opinions over the edge for me. How dare you do a ridiculous interview like that in the middle of an ongoing investigation. How dare you paint Keith Lamont Scott as this lovable teddy bear after he did six years in prison for killing a man. I will never watch your completely biased show again.
