The company got started in 2009 by the founder Nitin Passi in United Kingdom and since then has expanded its vast business in countries like France, Australia, Germany and USA. He is an internet entrepreneur who went to boarding school at Cranleigh in Surrey. Then he moved to Hong Kong when he was nine with family, who were already long-term clothing suppliers to the British high street through their By Design Company. Later he joined university and worked with his father but actually he socialised more than he worked and learnt the process of designing and making clothes. The founder then started his career in New York fashion industry and brought up an idea to set up a business own his own with loan of £50k. The business is now hitting the row among various brands available online.

The products they provide are ready-to-go wearable and are especially designed by in-built talent to create a look desired by women to fulfil all elements in their life. The products are affordable with around 1000 brands dropping up new styles every week on the site plus bringing in the freshest piece. They design 95% of their products in house 50% comes from UK factories and rest by air freight from the Far East. No matter of size as they take care about the launch including plus size and petite size as well as lingerie.
Business in US
The company is running business in almost 80 countries worldwide and United States is one of them. To expand his business in US he made collaboration with singer and former X Factor judge, Nicole Scherzinger on a new collection and fashion shoot in 2014. They are now working on new campaign named Babes of Missguided that simply encourage customers to take selfies in the dress of brand and share it with friends. Not only has this they have joined hands with ASOS and key brand outfitted in the USA. The company is thus looking upon the huge growth rate in America and Europe with sales in financial year ending £206 million.
They have now launched the new range of wedding dresses and recently announced the launch of brother label Mennace in 2017.
