Disappointed with product

Posted on Nov 30, 2016 at 05:54 PM

Stephanie Fifer says: I bought the Covergirl supersizer by lash blast star wars edition light side mascara. I paid 8 dollars for it. About 2 hours after putting it on my eyelids they started to itch and burn. I decided to wipe it off, and my eyelashes came with it. It literally took over half my eyelashes off. My eyes are swollen and red and my lash line is sore. I am left with no inner lashes at all. Just about 15 on the outer corners. I will never use this brand again. Loreal here I come.

Complaint about the presentation

Anna Turner says: I have been a Cover Girl customer for many years. However, I must strongly object to your new commercial featuring a young man in complete makeup. This is very offensive and sends a very confusing message to young children. I cannot support a company that takes its responsibility to the public so lightly.

Disappointed customer

Posted on Nov 27, 2016 at 04:54 AM

Felicia Spruill says: To whom it may concern,
I have always been pleased with the Cover girl products I have purchased. Moments ago, I was watching TV with my daughter and a commercial with a young man came on and I was disturbed to see that it was for Cover girl. I will not be purchasing your products in the future.

Talking about the quality of product

Posted on Nov 06, 2016 at 10:39 PM

Marilyn says: I have had it with your eye shadow. Some genius (not) changed that sleek oval design to a big, rectangle design. Hate it. Then the last 4 times, I have purchased your eye shadow, the end of the brush comes off, meaning you are using cheap glue. You have make the container awkward and unattractive and you are too tight to use decent glue on the applicator. I am going to find a comparable color (tapestry taupe) in a decent sized competitor's container and I am going to switch to them after 30+ years with you. Also, having a Cover guy was pretty sick too. What has happened to this company? You have gone down the toilet.

Looking for free coupons

Posted on Oct 27, 2016 at 05:43 PM

Alicia says: As a consumer, I have been using your products. I would love to get free coupons and samples that would make my day. The cost of everything is going up. Please would you help me? Thank you in advance. A thrilled consumer.

Complaint about makeup kit

Posted on Oct 27, 2016 at 09:18 AM

Keesha says: Hello, I am really not one to complain about your makeup but the past couple of days I bought your Covergirl pressed powder in the brown container and I have been finding my face breaking out into painful pimples/rashes. Its not because anything I am doing, I moisturize and apply correctly. I have alot of your products but this one is giving me great trouble. Please get back to me.

Thanks.

Thoughts

Debbie says: I have used Covergirl for many years. However, when I was shopping yesterday I made a purchase of L'Oréal instead. I am disturbed by your new cover boy ads. I for one am sick and tired of the liberal agenda being pushed on me as a consumer. I am pretty sure that the demographics of your clientele feel like I do. As a woman, I am tired of everyone blurring the lines between male and female. I for one will no longer be supporting your agenda.

Hello, I bought your covergirl black perfect point plus eyeliner 1 week ago. I have literally used it 4 times. When I went to twist it to get more of the eyeliner to come out, it wouldn't move. I can't get anymore to come out. I always bought this brand & this same eyeliner. I have never had a problem like this before. This usually last me quite a few months. But this time lasted me 5 days.

I have used cg eye pencils every day of my life since I was 18- I am now 38. Recently cg changed something in the make of the pencils so that they do not draw on your skin, I wear the midnight brown. The packaging and writing on the pencil itself has changed. If you do not go back to the original form I have to stop buying your product due to it does not work- I have less than a month of the old pencils left and have to throw out the new ones. Please change then back to how they have been for previous years.

How dare "cover girl" be so cheap as to stop providing? Large mirrors in the powder compacts. Now it's a mini mirror - tiny and compact looks cheap now And this site doesn't accept all the vowels now, way To go! Can't type a "you" here for some idiotic reason.
So the "you" I wrote here is phonetic for the vowel this Message system seems to reject.

Don't know how you can promote Ariana Grande! She has stood on a stage many times dissing America. She is an embarrassment to Covergirl.

Can someone please tell me which shade of cover girl lipstick is closest to Natural Frost color that is discontinued. I wore that shade for years and can no longer by it. I appreciate this as I love your products. Sorry some of the letters on this key board are not working. Thanks so much.

I have been a customer for 20 years and have been using your eyebrow/eyeliner pencils with 2 in a pack with a sharpener. I have always lover this product. I had to buy new one 2 days ago and when I went to use them; they did not go on my eyelids how the product usual goes on. This product formula was changed and not sure why. The packaging changed too. I am really upset because of the fact that covergirl makes tons of money and to go cheap with their products will just turn their customers away as I am going to find myself a new product with a different company. It's so sad covergirl did this as I loved their products. Farewell and good luck.

I will not be purchasing the cover girl Ink it eyeliner ever again despite loving the product. I brought home the product in the color I like- copper ink twice. The reason I will never give it another chance is the incredibly stingy bit of eyeliner. It lasted way to short of time for such a high price.

I have been using Cover Girl makeup "Clean Sensitive Skin" Classic Beige for a number of years and am now unable to find this color anywhere Cover Girl products are sold. Therefore I shall quit using Cover Girl and use another product. Why has this color been discontinued?

I need the eye shadow applicator replacements for the CoverGirl 4 color eye shadow. I have purchased this same product for over 30 years and in the past 4 years the foam applicators have been falling off the tips. The most recent one did not even last 5 times when it came off. The eye shadow is brand new and I cannot apply without the applicator. I would appreciate a supply of them sent to me.

I stopped using Cover girl makeup because of your spokesperson, Ellen DeGeneres. She doesn't represent the typical American woman, and I would think you would want to appeal to the biggest customer pool possible.

Bought the new skinny eyeliner and every time I touch my eye with it it breaks off. This is not good. I was excited to try the new liner but disappointed that it breaks all the time. Would like your feedback. Thanks

I recently purchased cover-girls exact eye lights mascara in #700 black pearl for brown eyes. When I opened the mascara to use it I was very disappointed! When I tried to put the brush in, it bent because it was so clumpy and hard!

I purchased your exact eyelights mascara for hazel eyes in waterproof recently, and while it seemed to be functional as mascara, it is almost impossible to remove. Two brand name makeup removers specifically for waterproof mascara, soap, olive oil and anything else I searched online to remove it did not take it off. After many failed attempts, my only results were red stinging eyes and half of my eyelashes are gone. This mascara should be used to fill in potholes instead of a product to use on your eyelashes. I am disappointed and would like a refund. I used this product twice and finally threw it in the trash when I realized if I continued using it, I wouldn't need mascara because I would have no eyelashes left to apply it to.

I recently purchased your Line Exact eyeliner in Smoke. The product was completely dried up. I shook it many times and could hear a little ball inside of it, but it made no difference. The little brush stayed white. I really wanted to try the product so I purchased the same thing at another store. It did work, somewhat. But, it, too, was quite dry. I’m sure I’ll only get a few uses out of it. I like the color of the liner so I am not going to return it. I will return the first one I bought but just haven’t had a chance to as yet. In both stores this item was on the very bottom of the display rack, it was very hard to see. I really only found it by accident. I’m guessing these were hanging on the rack for a long time and that’s why they are dried up.
I’ve had similar problems with mascaras of all brands. It doesn’t matter if they’re expensive or drug-store brands. They are dry from the start. I’ve returned many. This never used to be a problem and I don’t know what’s different about the formulations of these products than what they used to be.
