Bombay Convention Exhibition Overview
We are here talking about the permanent and the largest exhibition centre, in the private sector in India. It was built up in 1991 with the tremendously excellent accommodation to meet the expectations of all kinds of professionals. It is now considered as an ideal location for conferences, meeting, executive programs, training seminars, board meetings, symposia, planning sessions and events for groups having situated along the Western Express Highway in Goregaon.
What is it in structure?
The centre has the total meeting space of 413,520 sq. ft. with 8 meeting rooms out of which the space available in the largest room is 206,054 sq. ft. and the second largest room counts 127, 003 sq. ft. It comprises of 4 halls that are centrally air-conditioned and are furnished with Wi-Fi facilities, good lightings having well designed ventilation and strong flooring. Even they have open air cafeterias, offices, service centres, restaurants and lounges within the complex having serene and lush-green.
Why is it so popular?
The
centre is a known name in the exhibition industry as it has worked on its strength over years to generate a reputation as a respected forum to conduct some of the biggest and the most eminent global trade shows in India. Even on transport means it has an additional feature of just being few/10 minutes away from the airport plus having the walking distance to train stations and a 20 minute drive from the heart of Mumbai City.
Also they have large parking lots that can accommodate around 2000 vehicles at any given time with the offloading facilities from special bays in the halls. Some of the major organizers who had their shows in Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre includes UBM, Messe Hannover, Messe Frankfurt, Messe Dusseldorf, Koeln Messe and Messe Nurnberg with many more.
What’s new in events?
The centre is conducting a 4th International Exhibition & Conference on Smart & Sustainable City Solutions from 19 September to 21 September, 2018 whereas further they are organising the event of Economic Times ACETECH- Mumbai dedicated to construction industry from 15-18 November 2018.
In the end, we can say it is a king of the exhibitions centres in Mumbai.
