Nicholas "Nick" Jerry Jonas, born in Dallas on September 16th 1992, is the third son of Denise and Paul Kevin Jonas Jr. and, together with brothers Joe and Kevin, is one of the members of the Disney band called Jonas Brothers.
Despite his young age, the success for Nick comes very soon, thanks to the band and also thanks to the TV series aired on Disney Channel.
Nick Jonas: from "Hannah Montana" to "Camp Rock"
It is precisely the television series "Jonas" (2008) and "Jonas L.A." (2009), written as sitcoms, to give the three singers glory as actors, above all (not to say only) in the hearts of young girls. The first appeared on screen for the three Jonas brothers dates back to the first episode of "Hannah Montana" in 2007 and since then, as mentioned, the three guys have fallen in love with teenagers all over the world. Nick Jonas' first real film is "Camp Rock" (2008), followed by another hit, "Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both World Concert".
Also in 2008, Disney decides to produce a documentary "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream", in which the three, born in Texas, but raised in the town of Wyckoff in New Jersey, tell their dream: from strangers to the stars.
The Broadway musicals
Nick also starred and sang in some Broadway musicals. Already at the age of six he has been on stage with "A Christmas Carol" (2000), in which he plays Tiny Tim and later acted in "Annie Get Your Gun" (2002), "Beauty and the Beast" (2002) and "Les Misérables "(2003).
In 2005 he discovered that he suffered with type 1 diabetes, of which the singer and actor never hide, saying many times in several interviews how his life changed from the moment he discovered this disease.
Finally, in 2010 Nick, the absolute leader of the Jonas Brothers and writer of most of the band's songs, decided to found a new group "Nick Jonas and the Administration" with which he already released the first album in 2010. Nick and his brothers have also starred in the film "Night at the Museum 2" (2010). In 2012 appears in "Smash".
Nick Jonas comes back in 2014 with the TV series "Kingdom" in which he is one of the protagonists. In 2015 he appears in some episodes of the first season of "Scream Queens" and in 2016 he is in the cast of the film "Goat" with James Franco, presented at the Berlin Film Festival. He also appeared in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
Today, Nick is now grown up man married to bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra.
