Ishant Sharma is an Indian cricketer. He currently plays for India in all forms cricket like Tests, ODIs and T20s. He is pace bowler. He is also the tallest Indian cricketer and stands 6 feet 4 inches tall; he occasionally plays as a right handed batsman. He also plays in Indian Premier League, he was first part of Kolkata Knight Riders (2008-2010) then Deccan Chargers (2011-2012) and later he is now part of Sun risers Hyderabad (From 2013 to present).
Early life
Ishant Vijay Sharma was born on September 2, 1988 in Delhi, India. He is right now 30 years old. Talking about his education and qualification, he has done his schooling from Ganga International School in Delhi. He has not received any sort of education after completing his 10th standard; he has only focused on cricket. He was keenly interested in cricket since his very childhood; he was very much dedicated and has deep beliefs of making his marks in the world of cricket.
Career
Ishant Sharma started his career by playing domestically first; he played 14 first-class matches
and has taken 68 wickets. Ishant was in selected for India Under-19s in 2006, and toured England. Talking about his international debut in cricket, he debuted against Bangladesh in 2007. Sharma came into limelight when his famous spell against Australia’s Ricky Ponting in the Test at Perth on India’s tour to Australia in late 2007. It was a career-turning bowling spell where Ishant, a 19-year-old, gave Ponting a tough time in the middle by bowling outside off-stump and finally had him caught at slip. He has been out and in Indian team because of his performance, although considered as the fastest bowler, India can ever have. He couldn’t make a comeback easily as he was struck with injuries and therefore had to miss the 2011 World Cup as well. He went through an ankle surgery in 2012 and was out of action for months.
He has also been part of Indian Premier League, but missed out on several seasons, He is finally in contract with Delhi Capitals for 2019 season.

Ishant Sharma is a married man; he has tied the sacred knot of love and commitment with his wife Pratima Singh, who is also a national basketball player on December 9, 2016. Currently the duo has no children yet.
