When and how it started?
It was started in 1920 having a long history with 1200 exhibitors, including 256 from abroad and organizing the first trade fair in Milan on the Ramparts of Porta Venezia with the initiative of eight entrepreneurs.
Soon the International Fair of Milan was established in 1922 as an autonomous entity moving to ancient Piazza delle Armi in 1923.
The Milan Trade Fair showed the economic boom in the 60s and 70s as a decisive driver setting up the new spaces in the district of Milan-Rho, in 2006.
In 2008, they went for signing an agreement with Deutsche Messe acquiring the position as a leading exhibition organizer.
Later its 2015 held Universal Exhibition in Milan proven out to be its next achievement further launching out a paid capital increase in 2016 with a subscription of 95.6% of the total number of shares for a counter value of € 66.8 million.
