I am very disappointed with your service. I had a couple of very rude people calling me and leaving nasty messages. I was assertive back to them and cancel my service without getting to know the side of my story. Some of the people that email me were forceful and I was screening people on the phone, not all the people I spoke I invited to see the room because they gave me bad vibes. As a company you must honor both parties and find out what happened from both parties without cancelling. Remember people might be upset with you because you did not want to lower the price or did not invite them in. I am highly disappointed you did not even call me back after leaving SEVERAL messages. There are some weird people online and you must establish healthy boundaries and the company should HONOR that.

Hello,One of your clients was rude and threatening to me, they company shut down my add maybe because they went and complaint. I did not want to rent the room to them because I was screening people by the way the go about things and they seem to me it could have been trouble renting them. Roomster made me create a Facebook account to use its service. Then, it deleted my account saying "they delete burner Facebook accounts!" This is ridiculous that I cannot find a place to live because I have no Facebook account with multiple friends and posts. I wish, I read all these complaints before I decide to try the 3 days trial. This is totally unacceptable with the automatically charge $29.95 from my account. I canceled my trail in 3 days and ask for money back! If I didn't get a refund I think we customers who had this issue should all come together and fight with them together, it's not only about the money, it's our right and responsibility to protect ourselves and fight with seller who trying to take advantage of customers. And what they did is non sense.

I need help removing my extra Facebook account.
Maybe, it was because I was using the phone and Internet service was spotty, but I registered on rooster.com via logging into my Facebook and then it created a whole Nother Facebook accounts and now I have friends saying why do you have two Facebook's accounts. I can't get rid of the one that has really no friends on it right now and I didn't mean to create another Facebook account I just wanted to go to my Facebook and created a Roomster account so how do I remove that other account? Needless to say I will never be using Roomster again. I signed ûp for a $6 trial and deactivated my account the very next day, without finding it in the least bit helpful. No where does it say the subscription is automatic and yet I was charged for a full month at the end of my trial. Furthermore, when I checked my account status is actually showed my subscription as having been canceled, so there was no reason at all to charge me. I’m disputing the claim through my paypal because they offer no customer service, all their offered helplines are automated saying for billing one must call a different number or contact a different branch, yet they do not provide these numbers. This clearly feels underhanded.

I have tried every way that is available to contact and cancel my subscription. PLEASE cancel my subscription (which was deactivated 3 weeks ago) and REFND my money ASAP.

This is a scam. It's no wonder that Hoovers (D & Bradstreet) rates this as HIGH RISK. Let's see what the BBB has to say abot it.

I got a notice on my bank account that Ii was going to be charged for another month of service on 12/4. I assumed that when i deactivated my account last week that my account was cancelled. Well, i cancelled my account this morning and hope you will either not charge my account tomorrow or refund the month that i will not use.

Good morning. I have been trying to get in touch with Roomster for over a week now. I have left numerous voicemails on your 24/7 comments and suggestiond line. I was not notified to re-activate my subscription and was automatically charge $29.95 to my credit card account. I am a newly working woman out of grad school who has a substantial amount of loans and rent due. I cannot afford to be charged by your company for a service I was not willing to renew! I signed up for roomster when I started looking for a place. All was fine until someone tried to reach me about a listin they had. I had to pay almost $6 dollars to read the message and be able to read other messages for the next three days. I stopped using roomster when the three days were up and was contacting people through my personal email. A few days later I was reviewing my bank info and there was my $6 change to roomster, along with another $30 charge! I hadn't done this or approved of any charge except the $6. I instantly logged in and cancelled the subscription AND deleted my profile, and the charge vanished from my bank. Today (a good week or two later) the charge is back and no way to remove it. I have no profile so I can't cancel it and the "customer service" number is all recordings and voicemails!
This has happened to countless, as I've been reading for the past 30 mins or so.
