Disappointed customer

Sarah Hawkins says: I recently bought two packets of your thick cut bacon. In the package it looked fine but once opened the only meat on each rasher was the end part on show in the package. The rest was all fat. I didn't buy two packets of bacon just to eat fat. I have taken a photo and will send it to you if you would kindly send me an email address. I am extremely disappointed.

Pieter Vliek says: Very disappointed in bar code 44700 01988 Bacon. Too thin with small shredded pieces in the package. Otherwise, as always, good taste.

Not Pleased says: You have cut the amount of turkey, cheese and crackers in your lunchables. You use to give 10 of each slices and crackers. I just bought two packs last night and now they only have 8 of each. But the price is higher. I guess you guys don't think people notice things like that because mostly kids eat them. I am better off starting to make my own for the price and what I get from you?

Signed. Not pleased at all.

Jaime Bncie says: I am wondering why the quality of sub kit turkey and ham went down so bad. I won't buy it anymore. We used to enjoy it but from the past few times I bought it, the meat was fatty and the turkey actually crunched. I won't be buying again. And the prices of the hot dogs is atrocious for sub standard dogs. Bar S is better.

Patricia Warren says: I have been buying the Oscar Mayer fully cooked bacon original mega pack from a long time and never had a problem until I opened this box. The bacon in this box is so thin and with a lot of fat. I am very disappointed. The PC code is 44700 06841. Another number on box is EST 1841B 5. I bought it at Hannafords, Brattleboro, Vt. 05301.

Brad P. says: Hello,

I greatly enjoyed your carving board chicken grilled chicken strips but have noticed they are no longer available anywhere. I live in Detroit, Michigan. I can't see a place to order them online including your site. Are you still making them? If so, where might I will be able to order? Thank you for your help and have a good day.

Peg Miller says: Summer sausage is not on your product order forms, so stores cannot display it and customers cannot buy it. You said it is a "seasonal product" which ofcourse is not true. It has been available all year long in most states until recently. What actually is the problem? Have you stopped producing it? Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Indiana cannot get this product. Why not? Summer sausage has never been a "seasonal product".

Complaint about change in product

Debra says: To whom it may concern,
I bought the turkey hot dogs. I ate them right out of the package and I love them. However, I have noticed that they have changed. They are much tougher than the old version. I don't like the change. I have only bought your brand for years when you had the low fat/fat free hotdog. I loved those and the turkey hotdog is close in taste. But I am afraid I won't be buying the new product, its just not as enjoyable.

Suggestion about packaging

Posted on Nov 05, 2016 at 12:30 AM

Barbara Kim says: I love Oscar Mayer products. As I get older, however, I find the packages getting harder and harder for me to open. I buy a lot of the various lunch meats and I get so frustrated trying to open them.

I don't know if it is possible to maybe work on changing the way you package your lunch meats but I thought my comment couldn't hurt.

Thank you for listening and thank you for making such a wonderful product. I am a customer for life.

Respectfully,
Barbara J Kim

Asking a query about the product

ROBERT EPSTEIN says: Delifresh roasted roast beef has good flavor. The way it is packaged worries me. It is with easy open and no seal on the product. How do I know it has not been tampered with or any removed. Health problem? Afraid to get it again.

Today I was eating one of your turkey/almonds/cheese P3's. As I reached for a piece of turkey I noticed something poking out of the top. Unfortunately it was two small hairs. I pulled on one to make sure it wasn't just stuck to the cube but it was inside of it.

I have been buying my daughter the P3 snacks for about 2 months. This past week she was eating one at school and found a worm in her cheese. I didn't get any pictures as she was at school. Not sure how or why it was there. But I am afraid of buying anymore.

I bought a 32oz package of honey ham and I have never been more disappointed in lunch meat than I was with this!! So fatty I was spitting out hunks, then I hear both my boys telling me they are not eating this it's disgusting! For a family that loves ham, this was the worst I have EVER had in my entire 37 years of life! Wasted $7. It's like they only used the fattiest nastiest part/ So pissed.

Hello. My name is Brandon Acosta. My wife and I purchased a package of Oscar Meyer fully cooked bacon this past Sunday which contained a large amount of mold on each and every piece of bacon in the package besides 2 pieces. We were unable to use any of it and had to be thrown out. It is not a cheap product and to say the least were very disappointed and disgusted. What can be done about this situation? Please respond at your earliest convenience. I appreciate your time and understanding.

I purchased a pack of ham&turkey sub kit with the end pieces of the ham and turkey and also small strips of ham and turkey. This is awful that someone will sell products like this. I purchased this for nothing just to throw it away. I feel like if I would have purchased a off brand it would have been better.

We were at local Kroger and saw the wiener mobile. We didn't see anyone out there, so we went into the store and bought groceries. When we came out my 8 year old daughter wanted a whistle. I asked the lady if she could have one, she said no. I asked why, and she said they were going to their next stop 7 miles away if we wanted one, we could follow them. I told her that we didn't see anyone when we arrived and she got smart and said we have been here the whole time. I said okay, and walked away. My daughter was very upset and didn't understand why the other kids all got whistles and she didn't. Very disappointed.

As a VERY longtime purchaser of Oscar Mayer pre-cooked bacon, I'm very disappointed tonight. I purchased the 3.2 oz package at Walmart on Friday 7/8/16. I opened it tonight to microwave for BLT sandwiches and when I tried to pull the slices apart, 90% of them shredded apart rather than separating as individual slices. I am a very loyal Kraft Foods purchaser, but this was very sub-par for Kraft standards!! SKU on the box is 4470006647. Please improve your process / QA-QC program to improve! Much, much better quality is expected!!

I opened a pack of bacon that looked good from the window. When opened only a few pieces of bacon were good. The rest of the bacon was fat with only one small area of lean. It will be given to the dog. When I pay $5.00 for bacon, I don't expect the majority of the pack to be fat.

Good Day,
We are a Church that provides Summer Lunches to low income families. We are proud to say that we use your products to do so. The state of Illinois requires that Child Nutrition Labels are displayed on the M/MA (Meat/ Meat Alternative) products. Here is where I am running into a issue. Your Bologna, Deli Ham and Turkey products does not display this label. Pleases provide me with this information. I have a sample Product Formulation Statement Form that I am requesting you complete. Please respond to this email to be of further assistance.

I love Oscar Mayer foods. I am on disability and my income is lacking, but when I can, Oscar Mayer is my choice. My household loves your meats and cold-cuts. Being that I'm a single parent and can't afford much, Oscar Mayer is what I buy

Would you have coupons to send me? It would be greatly appreciated by me and my household. Thank you.

I know I can get non brand name food, but you get what you pay for. Oscar Mayer cost me more, but it's top quality in my opinion.

Last week, roughly 4/28, I purchased a package of your "deli fresh mesquite smoked turkey breast" with an expiration of May 25, 2016. I went to make a sandwich today, May 2, and it is covered in mold. I made the purchase from bi-lo in goose creek, South Carolina.

A couple weeks ago I had purchased Oscar Mayer deli fresh oven roasted turkey breast one pound family size. When I was shopping I didn't noticed but at home when I opened a couple slices were molded. It had more than one month before the expiration date. I would appreciate if you can refund for the purchase however I lost my receipt. I saved the package. I had to throw away the turkey.
The package expiration date s 18 MAY 201620:06DD2 43 below says P-2310
Barcode is 0 44700 03128 5.
I do have photos of package and molded turkey. If you need the proof.
I sent this claim last week but I have not received your response.

I am becoming disappointed in Oscar Mayer bacon products. This is the second time in a week and a half that I have began using a pack of bacon and found that nearly a quarter of it is pure fat that has fallen from the rest of the bacon. It results in a large mass of unusable fat that just gets tossed. I took a picture this second time to show my point.
If this is going to be the standard quality I can expect, I will switch brands.

I have a question for the CEO of Oscar Mayer. I am doing a school project where I have to write an editorial to turn into the New York Times editorial challenge for students. Me and my partner Michael Bennett are planning to send an editorial based on the topic of "is a hotdog a sandwich". We believe that a hot dog IS a sandwich as long as it includes a bun. I would like to know the CEO's position on this topic, why he/her thinks that, and what his/her name is. A source of mine says it is John D. Bowline but I need to confirm that. If yo take the time to even look at this letter I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi, I'm not the type of person to go out of my way to complain about something... But the last three times I've bought the deli fresh meat it's always has mold on it way before the expiration date. I always keep it sealed tight and it still happens. I think maybe this time it will last till the date or at least close, but I might just have to change my brand of meat. Thanks for listening to me rant.

I've been a loyal customer for over 45 years. I remember the first Oscar Mayer hot dog I ever tasted and I was hooked. I always enjoyed the taste and texture over other brands. I've been wondering for awhile why you changed your recipe. The new "classic" hot dogs aren't the same. The color, texture, and taste are different and not for the better. The ends are even different. The original wieners had pointy ends whereas the newer version is rounded. I've tried to adapt to the new taste but I just don't enjoy the flavor. OM was in a class by itself before, but now there's nothing unique about the hot dogs. I'm saddened by the change because as I mentioned it was a nostalgic part of my childhood. I really don't like it when companies change the quality of the products that made them successful in the first place, but I've seen it happen so many times. I believe if it's not broken, don't try to fix it. I still enjoy the bacon and bologna. I hope there's no plan to change those products.
