E-Z Pass New JerseyE-Z Pass is an American toll collection system used in the different states of the United States such as Delaware, New Jersey, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, New Hampshire, North Carolina, New York, Ohio and Maryland. There are 25 agencies that operate the E-Z Pass system in 14 states of the United States. All the member agencies use the same technology to operate the system. Under this electronic system travelers are allowed to use the same E-Z Pass throughout the network. The transponders of the E-Z Pass works by the listening in which a signal is broadcasted by the toll booth’s reader stationed. All the agencies are also connected with each other for the purpose of interoperability.
New Jersey OperationsIn New Jersey, the company charges US$ 1 per month as membership ship along with US$ 1 bimonthly fee for the printing and emailing of the statements. There is also limit in which minimum balance of US$ 10 should have to be maintained by the transponders. In
