History
The founders of the bank are the Ministry of Finance of Republic of Indonesia and Government of Indonesia. The bank created by the merger of four banks named as Bank Bumi Daya, Bank Dagang Negara, Bank Export Import and Bank Pembangunan Indonesia. After the merger, the bank reduces branches by 194. In 2004, the company opened a representation office in Shanghai.
