About Ahli Bank Qatar
Ahli Bank Qatar is Qatari based bank that deals with financial and banking services since 1983. The bank is considered as the seventh-largest bank in Qatar.
The Ahli bank came into existence in 1983 is a part of Citigroup and was opted to do the business in corporate banking, treasury and investments, retail and private banking, international banking and brokerage services.
It was headquartered in Doha, Qatar and now has around 405 employees working in 14 branches and ATMs comprising 20 branches and 47 off-site ATMs with some contact centers and also mobile and internet banking. However, in 1987, Citigroup decided to move from Qatar allowing the bank to purchase all its assets.
This decision allowed the bank to rule as an autonomous entity with its largest shareholder being the Ahli United Bank. At present, the bank is in the seventh position among the other bank in Qatar.
