Domino's Pizza
57 year ago, on December 9, 1960 Domino's Pizza was founded by two brothers James Monaghan and Tom Monaghan from Michigan. Domino's Pizza is an American Pizza restaurant chain company. The headquarter of this company is situated at Domino's Farms office Park in Ann Arbar, Michigan.
History:
Tom and James started business purchasing a small store named Dominick's in 1960. The brothers decided to divide the work hours but the James did not want full time work as a postman. James later decided to sell half of the business to Tom in exchange for the Volkswagen Battle. Tom purchased two additional pizzaries in 1965, now he had total three pizzaries in same country location and converted the name from domino's pizza to Domino's. Domino's logo has three dots and each dot representing Tom's original store. In 1967 company opened its first franchise store and in 1983 went international. It became publicly traded on NYSE as DPZ IN 2004.

In present time, Domino's has 8700 franchise store and approximately 10,500 peoples work
there. Its Operating income is US$ 454.04 million and Net income is US$ 716.30 million. It provides call-ins, walk-ins and online internet services to help their sales. Domino's offers free home delivery on online purchasing, offers coupons and special deals on specific manu. Domino's works all over the world so it offers various types of pizza. The number of customers of domino's increases day by day. It not only famous in US, Italy, Canada, China but also in India. In fact, domino's has 70% share of the Indian pizza market and 16% share of the rest service restaurant market.

Competitors:
Domino's popular on both national and international level so it has many competitors. The competitors include fast food franchise like as McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Papa John etc.
SWOT analysis:
According to analysis of SWOT domino's has some strength like as high recall brand because regular advertising with the taglines "30 minute home delivery nahi toh free", fantastic channel network, healthier alternatives on low cost, quick and fast services etc. On the other hand domino's has some weakness according to SWOT analysis like as low staff retention, lesser number of eateries, decreasing sales in mature markets.
Challenges:
No doubt Domino's grow up day by day but it also suffers from some basic challenges like as rise in pizza cost with increasing the cost of vegetables and its raw materials, different taste or eating habits of people in different country, direct and indirect sale of domino's.
