JR Motorsports History
This team started by the Dale Earnhardt in 1991 with a single employee that works on the marketing division of their racing team.
The main motive behind this business was to assist the Earhardt Jr in selling T-shirts and have a negotiation with the deals related to the sponsorship.
It was the year 2002 when the owner thinks about transforming the business into a racing team. They signed a contract with the Hendrick Motorsports that result in the merging of JR Nationwide Series and Hendrick teams.
Their first win came at the Motor Mile Speedway that takes place in Radford, Virginia during the year 2004. Presently, there is a 66,000 square foot race shop operated by the team near the city of Mooresville, North Carolina.

Since its foundation in 2002, there is a regional late model program fielded by the team. They have fielded many spotters under this program that includes NASCAR Jeremy McGrath and TJ Majors.
