Garth Brooks full name Troyal Garth Brooks was born on February 7, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. He was born as the youngest child to his parents Troyal Raymond Brooks, a draftsman and Colleen Carroll, a country musician. Because of his maternal musical background, he learned playing instruments like Guitar and Banjo at an early age. He went to Oklahoma State University for graduation, he earned scholarship also there. During his University days, he was inclined towards sports too, like Football, Baseball and athletes. His talent was first discovered by Rod Phelps in 1985, when he was singing at a youth club. Rod Phelps also gave him his first break of recording music in Nashville.

Garth Brooks first recognized by Rod Phelps, got a major kick start in music in year 1989, when he released his self-titled music album. The album became instant hit, and become top rated on music charts. His second album ‘No Fences’ was released in 1990; it occupied number one spot on Billboard country music charts. His third album ‘Ropin the wind’ released on September 2, 1991. His next album released in 1993 ‘In Pieces’ was also a major critical hit. Garth Brooks has exchanged wedding vows two times in his life. First the best-selling artist hooked to a woman named Sandy Mahl on May 24, 1986. They together have three children, i.e. three daughters Taylor Mayne Pearl, August Anna and Allie Colleen. The couple separated in 2000 with mutual consent because of growing incompatibilities. Brook remarried on December 10, 2005 to country singer Trisha Year wood. The couple is living a fruitful life in Oklahoma.
