Bhuvneshwar Kumar is an Indian Cricket player. He represents India internationally in all formats of the game. He is a right arm pace bowler and an occasional right handed batsman. For the domestic cricket, he represents ‘Uttar Pradesh’ team. In Indian Premier League, Kumar plays for ‘Sunrisers Hyderabad’. Early life
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has full name Bhuvneshwar Kumar Mavi. The 29 year old Indian cricketer was born in Meerut, India on February 5, 1990 in a Gurjar family. His father, Kiran Pal Singh Mavi is an Assistant Superintend of Police in Uttar Pradesh Police and his mother, Indresh Mavi is a homemaker. He also has an elder sister named Rekha Adhana. Professional Career
Bhuvneshwar Kumar started his cricket coaching at the age of 13 only. He started playing domestic cricket in year 2007 for Uttar Pradesh. He gained popularity when he became the first bowler to dismiss legend Sachin Tendulkar for a duck in Ranji Trophy match. He has also played in 2012’s Duleep Trophy. Talking about international debut, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was first selected in Indian team for T20 match against Pakistan on December 25, 2012. His One day International debut happened in same year and same month against Pakistan only December 30, 2012. His test format debut happened on February 22, 2013 against Australia in Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He was also the part 2013 champion’s trophy, which was held in June 2013. For his six wickets at an average of 22.83 and an economy rate of 3.91, he was selected in the 'Team of the tournament' by ESPNcricinfo writers. He continued to perform well and stayed in the Indian cricket team, he was also in the playing eleven squad of 2015 ICC World Cup, but didn’t perform well. Bhuvneshwar Kumar played only four Tests in 2016, but returned with full form during the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy and was again named in the 'Team of the Tournament' for helping India reach the finals. In 2019, recently he took his 100th wicket in ODI against Australia. The news has also surfaced, that he has also been selected for ICC World Cup 2019. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is married to his childhood sweetheart Nupur Nagar, an engineer. The Couple tied the wedding knot on November 23, 2017 at a private ceremony in Greater Noida. The also held a reception afterwards on November 30,2017, in which many cricket’s famous personalities and Indian team players marked their presence.
