The company was founded in 2011 employing over 35,000 and is owned and operated by Marathon Petroleum.
It currently operates in 21 states including Delaware, Florida, Connecticut, Illinois, New York, Ohio, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.
The store chain offers a wide range of products to shop from and serves more than two million customers each day.
On their website, they have a store locator tool even the merchandise details that includes a range of food products at Speedy Cafe.
They also offer the Speedway Rewards loyalty program to earn and redeem reward points on all purchases. The points can be redeemed by the mobile app or at the store kiosk.
These can also be used for fuel discounts and gift cards. The plan has vast offers including benefits for those using Speedy Rewards MasterCard whereas the one with co-branded credit card earns more reward points.
The company also owns a 29% interest in Pilot Flying J Southwest LLC as a joint venture with 124 travel center locations, primarily in the Southeast.
They even own 103 trailers and 109 transport trucks for the movement of gasoline and distillate but got ranked as the 4th worst company to work for in the United States in 2018.
In October 2018 it was announced that all SuperAmerica locations will be rebranded as Speedway locations after its acquisition.

According to the recent report, the company sold out approximately 5.8 billion gallons of transportation fuels and an additional $4.9 billion in merchandise.
