Paultons Park UK Overview
Paultons Park is a theme park situated in Hampshire, England. The park opened on 17 May 1983.
It was previously known as Paulton’s Park and Bird Garden. The owner of the company park is Richard Mancey.
The park is opened from February half-term, Mid-March to October and weekends in November and December.
The theme park is based on Peppa Pig which is a children’s television series character. The park is situated in 140 acres of area.
Awards
In 2013, the park won Netmurns Best United Kingdom Theme Park for Family Fun whereas in the same year they won Netmurns Best United Kingdom Park Kids Favorite Category.
TripAdvisor Travelers Choice Award ranked Paultons Park no-1 theme park in the United Kingdom.
History
On 17 May 1983, theme park was opened as Paultons Park and Bird Gardens.
The park opened with only four members. At that time major attractions of the theme park are adventure playground, the village Life Museum, numerous birds and animals.
In 1999, the park began expanding. The previous slogan of
the park was It’s Hoot Hoot. In 2016, Paultons Park opened a dinosaur theme park.
The budget of the dinosaur theme park was £9 million. The dinosaur theme park includes a flight of Pterosaur, Vekoma Family Suspended Coaster, Velociraptor, Dino Chase, Track Ride and many more.
Major Attraction
The park has more than 70 exciting rides for visitors. It is the world’s first Peppa Pig World theme park.
There are several partners of theme park are Heart FM, The New Forest, Hampshire Attractions Group, New Forest Ice Cream, Robinsons Fruit Shoot Juice, Selwood Plant & Pumps.
The major attraction of the theme park is Penguins, Beastie Burrow, Birds of Prey, Hornbills, Tropical Birds, Flamingos and Pelicans, Giant Tortoises, The Main Garden, The Japanese Garden, Lake and Weir, Jungle Falls, Snakes, and Ladders Garden, Forest Friends Garden, Rockery and many more.
