And has their main head office of the company situated in Chennai, India. In 2016, the production output of the company was more than 666,4oo units. The owner of the company is Eicher Motors. As of 2016 records, the revenue of the company was RS 7,037.97 crore whereas the operating income of the company in the same year was RS 2,205.81 crore. The manufacturing facility of the company situated in Chennai, India. The company’s parent company starts producing motorcycle in 1901. It is also the oldest motorcycle brands which are still in production.
Royal Enfield Past History
The Indian government orders 800 units for patrolling the border. The company partner with Redditch for manufacturing Royal Enfield Bullet Motorcycle in Madras. The company partner with Eicher Group. Later in 1994, the company merged with Eicher Group. The company manufacturing facility located in Jaipur closed in 2002. In 2016, the company
opened their office in Wisconsin. The company launched a new motorcycle version of Classic 350 and 500. In Chennai, the company has three manufacturing plant in Thiruvotiyur, Oragadam and Sipcot Industrial Park.
