Company in 1927. Further, it expanded in all 50 states of the United States followed by its listing on the New York Stock Exchange in 1993 under the ticker symbol PL. It also acquired West Coast Life in 1997, Chase Insurance Group in 2006 and MONY Life Insurance Company in 2013.
In 2015, the company was itself acquired by Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, Limited carrying out the same operations and policies.
