Progressive Corporation is an American vehicle insurance company providing their services in the United States. The company was established in the year 1937 by Jack Green and Joseph Lewis. Presently, they are based in Mayfield Village, Ohio from where they control their operations. Recently the company has expanded their operations to Australia. As of 2016 records, their revenue was US$ 23.44 billion. There are more than 27,200 people working with the company spreading across different departments.
Progressive Divisions
The company has divided their operations into three different divisions that are explained below:

This main duty of this segment is to write aninsurance policy for motorcycles, boats, automobiles, and recreational vehicles. They complete their work directly as well as through an independent agency channel.

They offer liability and physical damage insurance solutions for the trucks and automobiles.

This division is involved in providing professional liability insurance to the community banks in the various portions of the United States.
Progressive Solutions
There is a huge portfolio of
insurance solutions provided by the company that includes both vehicle & recreational as well as home & property insurance. The vehicle category includes insurance for ATV, snowmobile, motorcycle, golf cart, classic car, boat, and auto. On the other hand, the Progressive’s home & property category consist of renters, flood, mobile home, home share, and homeowners insurance services. In addition to that, they also offer solutions, such as auto financing, auto refinancing, car shopping service, life & travel insurance, and ID theft services.
