Eiffel Tower Overview
Eiffel Tower is a popular monument located in Paris, France. The tower was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel, and it is named after him.
The construction of the tower was started on 28 January 1885 and completed on 15 March 1889.
The tower was judged negatively by several artists and philosophers for its design.
The famous tower has many restaurants in its first and second level.
The Le Jules Verne is a gourmet restaurant with an individual lift named after the famous fiction writer Jules Verne.
There is also a special champagne bar located at the top of the tower.

The tower is visited by 6.91 million people every year making it the world's most-visited paid monument. The tower is also recognized as the world’s greatest marvel.

Effiel Tower History
The tower was built in two years and five days by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel Company using 7,500 tons of iron and 2.5 million rivets.
After the completion of the tower, the Gustave Eiffel celebrated with government officials.
Many famous people such as Prince of Wales, Sarah Bernhardt, Cody, and Thomas Edison visited the tower after completion.
Gustave Eiffel also invited The Thomas Edison to his private apartment.
Eiffel tower has the authorization to stand for 20 years.
The tower was not dismantled after his permit was finished because it proved to be beneficial for the city.
The top of the tower has an apartment which used for meteorological observation.
The tower remained the tallest structure in the world until the completion of the Chrysler Building in New York City.
The Eiffel tower is also the tallest freestanding structure.
