The Alfamart is an Indonesian company operating convenience stores in many countries across Southeast Asia. They are based in Tangerang, Banten Province, Indonesia. According to 2016 records, the net income of the company was RP 56.1 trillion, while their net income in the same time frame was RP 553.7 billion. More than 42,000 people are working with the organization globally. As per October 2018 records, the company’s President is Djoko Susanto. There are more than 10,000 outlets of the company in the different parts of Indonesia. They won the Top Brand Award in 2015. The first store of the company opened their store in the Jalan Banyan Kingdom in 1989. On the other hand, they joined the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009. Their stores are visited by more than 3 million customers daily.
Some of their stores remain open 24 hours for the convenience of the customers. A greater portion of their stores is located in the cities of Bali, Java, Sumatra, and Kalimantan. The company supported by more than 70,000 employees that make them one of the country’s biggest employers. They are known for selling basic needs products at an affordable price to the customers.
