Beyonce is 36 years old American singer, songwriter and actress active in this field since 1997. She is best recognised for making music in R&B genre and is well known for selling over 100 million records worldwide. Her work has made her achieve the title of being the world’s best selling music artist with the most nominated woman in the award’s history. She has received around 22 Grammy Awards which is other record in history of music awards.
She gave hits with singles “Crazy in Love”, “Baby Boy” and “Say My Name” as her signature song. Even acting career in Dreamgirls (2006), The Pink Panther (2006) and Obsessed (2009) added a step to her fame. Sixth album ‘Lemonade’ is a recent release of her in 2016 with a short film. She is now planning to make a remake of Disney’s The Lion King which is to be scheduled in 2019.
Her early life
She was born on 4th September, 1981 in Houston, Texas, United States as Beyonce Giselle Knowles to Mathew Knowles and Celestine “Tina” Knowles. Her father was employed as Xerox sales manager whereas mother was a salon owner and hairdresser. She was raised with her younger sister Solange in family. For education, she attended St. Mary’s Montessori School and at the age of 7, wining a school talent show put her interest towards music. She later went to Parker Elementary School, High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and Alief Elsik High School.
Career
Her career started up with an R&B group named Destiny’s Child in 1997. This was really a big start for small stars and they made a hit with their first self-titled debut album. The group gained momentum and scored out the no. 1 position in singles on the pop charts with “Bills, Bills, Bills”, off their second album. But soon she decided to start a solo career in 2003 and made a solo debut with album, Dangerously in Love, which became a real hit of her career. This won her 5 Grammy Awards.
She never looked back after that and became the queen of Broadway. She also continued her acting career on the side by pace. Aside from all she has other businesses to carry on which includes a clothing line House of Dereon, a fragrance launch by name Heat in 2010 and also being the spokesperson for brands like Tommy Hilfiger and L’Oreal. The highest earning female musician has snagged $105 million in pretax income and is now looking for a new music launch with Jay-Z in 2018.
Personal life
Beyonce and Jay Z married in 2008. Beyonce suffered from miscarriage in 2010 but soon became pregnant in Paris and blessed by a baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter, in 2012. She also gave birth to twins in June 2017 by name Rumi and Sir Carter.
