Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens is a set of two American amusement parks situated in the cities of Williamsburg and Tampa. Both of them are owned and operated by SeaWorld Entertainment, which is a publicly traded company based in Orlando, Florida, United States. The Tampa location remains open all the year-round, whereas the Williamsburg branch operates between March & December.
Previously, there were three parks that operated under the same name in the cities of Houston and California. All of them are closed nowadays.
Busch Gardens Tampa
This amusement is based on the African theme and opened on 31st March 1959. There are 8 roller coasters and 2 water rides along with the animal attractions in the Busch Gardens Tampa. As of 2016 records, it was visited by more than 4,169,000 people that makes it America’s 11th most visited theme park. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The total area of the park is 365 acres. The slogan of this beautiful theme park is “Born for Busch Gardens”.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg
This gorgeous theme park of the company is based on the European theme and feature 54 rides.
The slogan of the Busch Gardens Williamsburg is “Celebrate, Connect and Care for the natural world through the power of entertainment”. It was opened on 16th May 1975 as Busch Gardens: The Old Country, but they changed its name in 1993. The entire location is divided into 10 hamlets that are themed to the English, German, Irish, Scottish, and French villages. The park has won the Golden Ticket Award for Best Landscaping Amusement Park several times since its foundation.
