LeBron James is a 34 years old American professional Basketball player who plays for Los Angeles Lakers of National Basketball Association (NBA). He is often considered one of the best all-rounders in the game of basketball. He left college and joined NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers. He has won NBA championships with Miami Heat(2012-13) and Cleveland Cavaliers(2016).

Early life

LeBronRaymone James was born in Akron, Ohio to Gloria Maries James and Anthony McCelland on December 30, 1984. His mother gave him up at the age of nine to let him live with a family with more stable financial circumstances. He started living with the family of Frank Walker, a football coach, he introduced him to basketball. LeBron James started playing basketball since the fifth grade; he attended St. Vincent St. Mary High School. He played amateur basketball for Northeast Ohio Shooting Stars. During his start-up years he was called Ohio’s Mr. Basketball and he has also won accolade of ‘Gatorade National Player of the year’.

Career

LeBron James first started his professional career with selection in Cleveland Cavaliers in the year 2003 NBA draft. In 2004, he became the youngest member of basketball squad, at that time he was just 19 years old. St the age of twenty in 2005, he was selected for NBA all-star game for the first time, he was youngest player to score more than 50 points. In 2006, his contract with Cavaliers got extended for 3 years’ worth of $60 million. In 2007, he managed his team to reach NBA finals. In 2008 he outshined with his star performance, he scored 30 points per game, the highest average in NBA season. In 2008, he won gold medal in Beijing Olympics. In 2010 he joined Miami Heat, his performance topped there as well scoring 26.7 points per game. In 2012, while playing in London Olympics, he bring home a gold medal again, it was his second consecutive gold in Olympics. James’ team ‘Miami Heat’ won the NBA championship for two consecutive years from 2012 and he was declared NBA Most Valuable Player.In January 2018, LeBron became the youngest player in history of basketball in accumulating 30000 points.

The doctors and nurses told me he talked to me and God all day and night. He has his own medical difficulties but he never complains. He's very humble and grateful for whatever life brings him. Labron, I am a retired educator. In looking at the photos of the people participating in the programs offered, a large percentage of them are white and Hispanic. Statistically Black children have the highest risk of incarceration, dropping high school becoming low wage earners. Looking at the demographics in America, most whites don't live in predominantly African American neighborhoods. I am speaking of those neighborhoods with high crime rates, food deserts, lack of jobs and low literacy schools. Can more emphasis be placed on selecting children from predominantly Black neighborhoods? An extraordinary impact will be made in the lives of this targeted demographic. I have yet to see Latino organizations helping Black children or even making reference to them. Thanks for all the work done to help the world become better. Black children are in a very bad place and need assistance more than any other ethnicity. Please consider concentrating more on giving them first choice.
