Tiger Woods was born on December 30, 1975 in Cypress, California. His parents are Earl and Tida Woods. He is the only child of his parents together. He has many half siblings. He has been an amateur golfersince the age of two and was deeply inclined towards the sport. He attended Western High School, and pursued his career in Golf from very young age and won Junior World Golf championships 6 times. He has also attended Stanford University by winning scholarship in 1994, later drop-out to become a big name in Golf.
Career
Tiger Woods began his professional career in year 1996. In 1997, he won major tournaments ‘Masters’. He won PGA tournament in 1999, and became the number one player in Golf History and official rankings. In start of new millennium he won continuously 6 times and also U.s Open. In 2001 he won all four major professional titles, including 2001 Masters Tournament. From year 2002 to 2004, he didn’t achieved much and doesn’t have much record during that time. In 2005, he won six officials PGA Tour money events. In 2006, he nearly won 55 times. Woods shining career continued to shine and rise. He later suffered a knee injury and undergone a surgery in year 2008, this lead to a break time from the sport. In 2009, he again rebooted his career and continued playing well, he won 2009 Presidents Cup. Due to his divorce and problems in his personal life in 2010, his game suffered, many sponsors cancelled their contracts with him. His rankings came down during that period. 2011 also prove to be a slow year for his career. His career graph faced a major decline; he fell to position number 58. He returned to his form in year 2013, when he won Arnold Palmer Invitational and regained his throne, his position at number one spot.
