Theresa Mary May is a 62 years old, British Politician, who is presently serving as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. She is in the office since July 2016. She is country’s second female prime minister and also the leader of Conservative Party and has been the Home secretary since 2010.
Early life
Theresa May was born on October 1, 1956, in Eastbourne, England, United Kingdom. She is the single child of parents Zaidee Mary ad Hubert Brasier. Talking about his education, she has attended Heythrop Primary School, Oxford shire, St. Juliana's Convent School for Girls, and the Wheatley Park Comprehensive School. Later on, she was enrolled to University of Oxford, where she studied Geography with B.A degree in 1977.
Career
Theresa May started her career as a bank employee and later worked as a financial consultant and senior advisor in International Affairs at the Association for Payment Clearing Services from 1985 to 1997. She afterwards routed towards politics and served as Chairman of Education and Deputy Group Leader and Housing
Spokesman. May was also appointed Shadow Education and Employment Secretary in the Shadow Cabinet in 1999. Following the 2001 election, she was moved to the Transport portfolio by the new Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith. Theresa May held the office of Minister for Women and Equality from 2010 to September 2012. In this position she supported the Anti-Discrimination Laws enshrined in the Equality Act 2010 which came into effect in England, Wales and Scotland on 1 October 2010.

Talking about Theresa May’s personal and love life, she is married to Philip May; they tied the wedding knot in year 1980. The couple could not have any children due to medical reasons. Her husband is an investment banker currently employed by Capital International.
