About S Qeshile
S Qeshile or Sinethemba Qeshile is 20 years old South African cricketer known among top-order right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper.
S Qeshile was born on 10th February 1999 in King William’s Town as Sinethemba Qeshile. He belongs to a family having a disadvantaged background where his mother is a domestic worker and he was looked after by a European family who took him through primary school and helped him financially with assistance from CSA. He attended the Hudson Park High School from where he started his early cricketing career. His coach Dave Alers at Hudson Park offered SA Cricket magazine some insight into the 18-year old. He made participation in the KFC mini-cricket program at Gonubie Primary School and started making his name on Hudson ground.
He started his career playing for domestic clubs and debuting in List-A for Border in 2017-18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge. His ability and performance grab him another chance to make his first-class debut for Border in 2017-18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup where he took full
advantage scoring 52 not out in a draw against the Dolphins. Especially, this inning put him fourth in the spotlight and got rewarded with selection for the India spin camp at the end of April. He soon made it through a contract by Cricket South Africa for ahead 2018-19 season. He also played for Jozi Stars’ squad in Mzansi Super League T20 tournament for the first edition in October 2018 squaring up against the Nelson Mandela Bay Giants. His biggest opportunity came in March 2019 when he got selected for South Africa’s T20I squad against Sri Lanka further making his debut on 22nd March 2019.
