Sergey Brin was born on August 21, 1973, in Moscow, Russian SFSR, and Soviet Union to his Russian Jewish parents, Mikhail Brin and YevgeniaBrin. His father was a mathematics professor and his mother was a researcher at NASA‘s Goddard Space Flight center. Sergey Brin went to ‘Paint Branch Montessori School’ in Maryland. After completing his high school, he attended ‘University of Maryland’ and completed his bachelors of Science degree in 1993. Later he also studied from ‘Stanford University’ and completed his graduation in computer science.
Career
Sergey Brin together Larry page started working on research project, called ‘BlackRub’. Bring along with Page, also developed Page Rank algorithm. In 1997, Brin registered domain google.com. The company was legally formed on September 4, 1998 at a Menlo’s Park California. Andy Bechtolsheim, co-founder of Sun Microsystems, contributed the first funding to Google with a Cheque for $100,000. In year 1999, the company was merely working with eight employees and shifted the office to Palo Alton, California. The formation and sat up of Google is by far Sergey’s Brin best and greatest contribution to the world, as the company has shown tremendous growth and success in such short span.
