Walmart was also the client of that firm, but Walton left his job his father’s business. Samuel Robson Walmart acquired the post of senior vice president, general counsel, secretary and vice chairman at Walmart. He played a major role in expansion and progress of Walmart. Rob was in the Board of Directors of Walmart since year 1978 and became the Chairman in year 1992 after the death of his father.
At present, Walton owns a venture capital firm named ‘Madrone Capital Partners’ and he is also one of the trustees at the ‘College of Wooster’.
