Patrick James Cummins is a 25 years old Australian Professional International cricketer. He is nicknamed as ‘Cummo’, ‘The Postman’ and ‘Cider’. He is a right arm fast bowler and a right handed batsman. He is currently playing for Australian cricket team in all formats of the game. He is also the co-vice-captain of Australian national cricket team. In domestic cricket he plays for New South Wales.
Early life
Patrick James Cummins was born on May 8, 1993 I Westmead, New South Wales, Australia to parents Peter Cummins and Maria Cummins. Talking about his education, he has attended ‘St. Paul’s Grammar School’ and later on done his graduation in Bachelor of Business from University of technology, Sydney. Cummins was always interested in cricket and always thought of making a career in it.

Cummins joined the Sydney Sixers franchise in 2011 and in next year he signed with the Perth Scorchers in 2012 but could not play due to injury. After that he made his debut for the Scorchers and beat the Adelaide Strikers in Perth on 16 January 2014. He was also the Australia Under-19 cricket team in year 2012. Discussing the details of his international career, he made his ODI debut on 19th October, 2011 against South Africa at Centurion, his test debut happened 17th November 2011 that too against South Africa, his T20 first match played on October 13, 2011 against South Africa in Cape Town. In his debut match he took 1/38 and 6/79 becoming the second youngest Test cricketer behind Enamul Haque Junior to take six wickets in an innings. In Indian Premier League, he has been an on and off player, he first played with Kolkata night riders in 2014 season, later he was bought by, Delhi Daredevils in 2017 IPL auction. In 2018 he was bought by Mumbai Indians.
