About Mohammed Shami
Mohammed Shami is a 28 years old, Indian international cricketer. His role is mainly off bowler, he is a right arm fast medium bowler and an occasional right handed batsman. In domestic cricket he plays for Bengal team and in Indian Premier League he debuted for Delhi Daredevils team in year 2014 and currently is part of Kings XI Punjab team. Recently, he made the record of becoming fastest Indian bowler to take 100 ODI tickets.
Early life
Mohammed Shami Ahmed was born on September 3, 1990 in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India to parents Tousif Ali and AnjumAra. His father worked as an agriculturist. Shami was raised up in small town named Sahaspur in Uttar Pradesh. His educational qualifications remain unknown and the detailsare also not on web. Mohammed Shami has three brothers and one sister. His father was also inclined towards cricket, but couldn’t make it. Inheriting his father genes, Shami also had bowling abilities from the younger days, his father noticed his talent and provided him coaching also.
Professional Career

Ahmer first started playing in Uttar Pradesh Under-19 team. He also played for the Dalhousie Athletic club. He was selected for 2010 Ranji Trophy because of his amazing bowling techniques, he made his place in the squad. He also made his first Class cricket debut in year 2010 for Assam. Talking about his Indian Premier League career, he was first selected for Delhi Daredevils team in year 2011. In year 2019, he is bought by Kings XI Punjab. In International play, he made his successful debut in One Day International format on January 6, 2013 against Pakistan. His test debut happened on November 21, 2013 against West Indies. His T20 debut was in March 21, 2014 against Pakistan. He has been playing well since then. Recently his named is also included in the list of 2019 ICC World Cup squad.
Personal Life
Mohammed Shami has been married once. He was married to his former wife ‘Hasin Jahan’ from the period 2014 to 2018. The couple also shares a daughter out of their marriage named, ‘AairahShami’, she was born in July 2015.
Controversies
Mohammed Shami has been in limelight for negative reasons many times, in early, his wife lodged a FIR against Shami and his family members citing the reason of domestic violence and adultery. She also accused him of match fixing charges. However, later on BCCI cleared his name of any corruption charges.
