About Mitt Romney

We are talking about an American multimillionaire financier who served at the position of governor of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007 and was also named as the Republican Presidential candidate in 2008 and 2012. At present, he is appointed at the position of United States Senator from Utah.

Early life

He was born on 12th March, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to George Romney and Lenore Romney and was named as Willard Mitt Romney. He was youngest among four siblings and was born in family with the Mormon faith. His father was a successful business executive whereas mother was an aspiring actress. His father also served at the position of governor of Michigan from 1963 to 1969 and was also appointed as secretary of housing and urban development in the cabinet of U.S. President Richard M. Nixon. He went for Stanford University in California but left out his studies to attend a 30-month missionary campaign for the Mormon Church in France. He finally got graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University majoring in English in 1971. He also earned J.D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University in 1975.

After completing his education he started as an investment consultant in private sector with Boston-based consulting firm, Bain & Company, followed by spin-off company, Bain Capital, which was started by him with Coleman Andrews and Eric Kriss in 1984. This firm did a multimillion-dollar business. He later decided to try his luck in politics and made an unsuccessful run for the U.S Senate in 1994 but soon after some years he managed to generate some fire in his political career with successful appearance as president and CEO of then struggling Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Winter Olympics. He became governor of Massachusetts in 2003 and oversaw the reduction of a $3 billion deficit. He also signed into law a health-care reform program for Massachusetts residents. He later made a run for the U.S. presidency in 2008 election losing to candidate John McCain and the second run for the same position to Barack Obama in a tight race in 2012. He managed to rejoin the board of directors of Marriott International and then became the executive partner group chairman of Solamere Capital. In February 2018, he ran for the U.S. Senate seat in Utah that was vacated by the retiring Orrin Hatch. In November 2018, he was elected to the Senate and is now serving with Mike Lee assuming the office from 3rd January, 2019.

SARA ARISMAN says: Dear Mr. Romney, (FAKE-Romney's e-mail will not let ME type the letter " " - "yo ". This shows the "immat rity" Romney and staff have developed.!!!

I am so very disappointed in how "yo " are disenfranchising the "Rep lican" Party and the citizens of the "Rep lican" Party. So sorry that Mitt Romney is acting like Hillary Clinton OR Flake instead of acting like an incoming freshman representative of the great state of " tah"! A sorry looser!!! I voted for "yo " Romney as President; however,"yo " Romney were not able to get the job done. The two year present President "Tr mp" of America is doing a fantastic job and Mitt is "JEALO S!!!!" I am a teacher who can tell a child is throwing a temper "tantr m".

Service to monitor e-mails hired by Romney is not working to the advantage of Romney. Makes him look bad/fake. Will he ever see this?????

Seriously?! THAT'S your opener?!

Susie says: Senator Romney,
Launching your new role as a senator with the negative critique of the president revealed what a sanctimonious, petty, grandstanding, NON team player you are. As a recently retired seventh grade teacher, the critique you delivered the first day as Senator Romney reminded me of a classic jealous seventh grade girl's trashing of her winning competition who defeated her. I hope those who cast their vote for Mitt Romney for senator recognize their obvious mistake and don't repeat it! The goal is to drain the swamp, NOT add to it! I pray you're convicted of your hypocrisy, Mr. Holier-than-thou!

Dwight Barrs says: Brother Romney,

I am EXTREMELY DISPLEASED by your recent attack against President Trump in the Washington Post. Your niece Ronna McDaniel was right in being disgusted with you.

In the 2012 election I was an ardent supporter for you. I contributed significantly to your 2012 campaign. You LOST that election by failing to criticize Obama’s policies and programs, including Obamacare.

Now you dare to criticize President Trump after the divisiveness of the Democrats these past two years. What kind of big government RINO have you morphed into? Speaking of integrity …

Most sincerely,

Dwight Barrus

You have lost my support.

Sweetheart, those who voted for you thought you would support our President Trump. You are not even sworn in yet and you already decided to jump in and begin criticizing and demeaning our very successful President Trump. Boy, are you STUPID! You just labeled yourself as an untrustworthy Republican, and you will never win the 2020 presidential election. Spend your money on the 2020 campaign and waste your time and energy, but you will not win. The American people have you figured out as one of the lowest, most abhorrent, and despicable characters. What a shame that you were elected to the post of a U.S. senator, a position that you do not deserve. Even if you decide to change your behavior and try to become a devoted patriot and support our U.S. Constitution, you will always be labeled a loser and a draft dodger. You just killed any chance at the 2020 presidential election. You stupid, stupid politician. Go away, fool!

We were also involved in contributing to this last Senate race knowing how important it was to get a good republican in there with all the disgrace that Jeff Flake, John McCain and Bob Corker and others that have tried to block what this President is trying to do for the American People. He wakes up to an army of enemies every day and still puts in a full schedule to work for us. Diana Hntington says: Mitt Romney,
Your statements prove you are not worthy to be President of the American voter has made their choice and as newby Senator in the Republican Party, it is your job to do what we say or we will fire you. President Trump is doing exactly what we want and we.expect you to get behind the voter’s choices in President and policies. I would vote for Kanye West in 2024 before I would you. You are acting like a vindictive loser still looking for relevancy. Just because your pologimist, Macaroni religious group thinks your great, the rest of America thinks you are pathetic. We Christians know whose agenda to support. We had to hold our nose to vote for you, the lesser of two evils. Now we have President Trump that we love and love every disrespectful, non-politically correct, non-elitist tweet he makes Get on board or get out of the way of the Trump Train. Shows how out of touch with the American people you are that I have to point this out to you.

Dr Samuel D Gowan says: There was a time that I considered you to ban an honorable person. That has changed as I have observed your inept and probably Rothchild et al globalist tendencies. Being a puppet of these elites is not being for the people of a Sovereign nation. Bashing Trump because of his ability to get things done for which we the people elected him. THE WALL AND IMMIGRATION REFORM (THE FOUR PILLARS) IS A MAJOR REASON WE ELECTED HIM.
You represent the “Utahns” but YOUR decisions impact the nation. STOP BASHIING TRUMP AN DWORK WITH HIM TO GET THE PEOPLES AGENDA ACCOMPLISHED. We do not need another RINO like McCain or Flake in the Republican Party. Change or be prepared for major opposition and lose what honor you still may have. President Trump was elected to bring an end to the faux corporate UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, INC., clean out the swamp and return the America to the Republic as originally founded.

You are not building anticipation with endless leaks- you look silly. Your ego is understandable. Pretty people have to have attention. Attention, wealth, accolades equal the need for more. I am so fearful you are already part of the swamp. We seem to have too many communistic millennials and we have too many rinos. I am LDS, conservative and a constitutionalist, and our President speaks for me and the American People. Either join With the American people or stay out if the way.

Thank you

This current administration is a disaster. The eco system is fragile & the powers that be don't care as long as the market goes up. He removed most of the restrictions so of course wall street is having a ball. Carried interest continues.

This romance w Putin is chilling. I am very educated as is my husband. We are embarrassed by the Congress. Balance is needed.

Patricia Sheehan says: I have lost respect for you, Mitt Romney, as you would insure the election of an open borders Marxist (Hillary Clinton), by not supporting Donald Trump. Ted Cruz, not Donald Trump was my choice for the Republican nomination, however, I realize that to salvage our country, we must vote for Mr. Trump. Yes, his recent "locker room" comments of 11 years ago were lousy. But would you hand the election to Hillary? who has threatened more than a half dozen women who had real, physical, sexual abuse claims against her husband, Bill Clinton? For the sake of my children and grandchildren, I hope you would not.

Best Regards,
Patricia Sheehan,

Dear Mr. Romney,

You and I are left with the same problem, Trump or Hillary. The conservative part of us tells us that Trump, but morally we know that is not the right choice. I would like to ask you if you would please consider running for president in the 2016 election. I believe you, alongside Paul Ryan, will bring our country out of the hole that our politicians have put us in. Please consider my request, I know I am asking a lot, but this country needs you.

Mr. Romney,
I live in Brighton, Michigan. I have family in Fairview Cemetery, not far from the grave of Gov. George W. Romney. I often visit Fairview, passing the graves listed on the marker of him and Lenore. It is sad to see no one places flowers, etc. at their memorial site, or leaves memorial wreaths. A few times, a few small evergreen trees have been planted there. However, they don't thrive and are removed. As a past Gov. of the State of Michigan, I believe his grave site needs to be better honored.

The reason for my message here is, to say, I am interested in having permission to maintain their grave site in a more appropriate way. I am not asking for payment to do this, except for the cost for items of appropriate decorations, on days like Memorial Day, Father's Day, and Mother's Day.

You really are a narcissist ! You ought to be ashamed of yourself ! I am 68 yr old conservative Christian woman. I have researched & contacted most of the 50 that signed Trump letter! Now I see you are just another globalist -- only concerned about your millions, not about this country! I saw your speech at the Clinton Globalist Initiative!

Email to Glenn Beck: If you and your anti-Trump cohorts succeed and the witch gets back into the White House, our blood will be on your hands. I cannot imagine for the life of me why you, Romney, Cruz, Kasich, and National Review insist on undercutting Trump. Cruz and Kasich need to get over it. They lost. Too bad. They need to cowboy up and support the nominee. For you people to carry on with your opposition to Trump is counterproductive, mean-spirited, and dangerous to our country. If Hillary succeeds in the election, what do you gain? “I told you so”? At the expense of the Supreme Court, our constitutional rights, and (most probably) our lives? Grow up and start acting like adults. Support Trump. So what if you don’t think he should have won the nomination. A vote against Trump will be like repeating history with Ross Pirot or Ron Paul: And the consequences will be far more dire and final - a disaster for our nation. Again: Mr. Beck, get off your high horse and recognize the remedial fact that if you don’t stop bad-mouthing Trump.

Please mitt, consider entering as an independent candidate! The other choices are sickening, on both sides. Mitt, you can take on Donald trump. If you don't get into this race, we are faced of 4 - 8 years of another Clinton who!!

Please consider entering!

Mr. Romney, I am a resident of Michigan, am 62 years old next month, and have been a life-long republican, until the primaries this past spring. I voted for john Kasich from oh, and was disappointed in the end. I cannot and will not vote for Donald trump, and at the same time, cannot ever consider voting for Clinton either. Is there any way that we might find a way to get Romney in as an independent candidate? Please, consider this, after looking at the alternatives we are being "forced" into.

It is time to get over your self and stand up for God and America. We love Donald Trump, we want America to be great again. If you do not support Donald then be honest and call yourself a Globalist, you obviously support Hilary? You want a one world government and the Clintons. God help us! Shame on you!
So choose either be a Republican or be a Democrat. Stop putting Donald Trump down!

Mitt, my family, friends and I voted for you in 2012 because you were the right person for the job then. Trump is not only the right person for the job now, but Hillary is the worst person for president. You had a chance to put Obama to shame in that last debate, but you chose to do what your advisers suggested, to play it safe. You blew it then for all of us who supported the Republican candidate we thought could take it to Obama. Don't blow it again by not supporting Trump. It is not about you, it is about your country, our country.

Mitt, It is time to be a Republican now or the party will never want you to be included again. Please pass this on to the rest of your hold out friends. Trump is not as bad as Obama / Clinton and cold have a chance of winning with full support. We are sick of all the know it all's like this top group of extreme losers.

Mitt, what is your problem? I certainly supported you in 2012 and then you ran the worst campaign possible. It was an embarrassment. And now you are making a fool of yourself. I have concluded that Mr. Trump is more qualified then you to be President. At least he recognizes the American peoples concerns and fights back against the Democratic crap. You need to go away or endorse Trump.

Mr. Romney,
why not vote for Hillary instead. Voting for anyone other then Trump is the same as helping Hillary win the election. I voted for you and I'm sorry you didn't win, but Trump is the only candidate that has the best chance to stop scandalous Hillary in my opinion. I'm very disappointed that you are trying so hard to discourage people from voting for the Republican nominee. It's one thing to back a particular candidate, but it sounds like you would rather see Hillary win then Donald Trump win. I think, that this is the true intention of the "Never for Trump" group. Scandalous, establishment politics are ruining the people's trust in public officials.

Sincerely, D. Wolfley

With you and Arnold trying to foul up the GOP`s chances at the white house , only shows just how much the GOP is in dis-array, with only one candidate that has grown the republican party in the past few months, it should be clear who you need to support. The GOP knows who that candidate is....the people are sending a strong message, and it is critical, and would be very wise to listen. The only way that the republican is going to win, is if they can pull the frustrated democrats over. Let's face it. There is only one candidate that can do that. I talk to my neighbors and family and friends and they all agree, and they all agree ( even the democrats ) that if they cannot win the Presidency this time around, then it really does not look good for the republican parties future.....we the people are speaking......

My husband and I supported you in 2012 with the idea you were a decent person but knowing that you will be giving a speech tonight denouncing Trump has caused me to think otherwise.
The RNC and you have not gotten the message from the American people that we are sick and tired of politics as all and that is why Tr mp is surging ahead in the primaries and instead of supporting him you are providing a fabulous opportunity for the democrats to stay in office. In other words you are destroying the GOP.
We have supported the RNC for many years but I do believe that has come to an end unless things change and all become more cohesive.
