Early life
Mayank Anurag Agarwal was born in Bangalore, Karnatka, India on February 16, 1991 to parents Pranav Kumar Pandey and Suchitra Singh. He also as a brother named Raj Kishan, who is a former state level cricketer. Talking about Agarwal’s education and qualification, he has finished his schooling from ‘Bishop Cotton Boys School’ situated in Bangalore. He was later on enrolled to ‘Jain University’ in Bengaluru.
Professional Career
Mayank Agarwal started his professional career, by playing in Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy in 2008-09, in which he has scored 432 runs. In 2010, he was included in Karnataka’s T20 team. On 7 November
2013, he made his first-class debut for Karnataka in the 2013-14 season of Ranji Trophy against Jharkhand. Playing as an opening batsman, he scored awesome 90 off 144 balls. In Indian premier League, he started out with Royal Challenger Bangalore in year 2011, and later on he was bought by, Delhi Daredevils, he stayed with them from 2014 to 2016. In year 2017, Agarwal was bought by Rising Pune Super giants. Presently he is playing for Kings XI Punjab. Talking about his international debut, Agarwal made his Test debut against Australia on 26 December 2018, scoring seventy-six runs in his first innings at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Personal Life
Mayank Agarwal is very much married and committed; he has exchanged the wedding vows with his long-time girlfriend and sweetheart Aashita Sood in year 2018. The couple reportedly doesn’t have any children yet.
Mayank Agarwal loves Sachin Tendulkar very much, and claims him to be his biggest inspiration for playing cricket.
