Early life
Lindsay Graham has full name Lindsay Olin Graham, he was born on July 9, 1955 in South Carolina to parents Florence James Graham and Millie Graham. He is the first born child of his parents and has one single sister named Darline. His parents worked on a liquor store and also owned one sanitary café. His parents died, when Lindsay was 21 years old. Talking about Lindsay’s formal qualification, he has attended D.W. Daniel High School and later he was enrolled to University of South Carolina in Columbia. In year 1977, Lindsay graduated with B.A in Psychology. He has also earned J.D degree from University of South Carolina School of Law in year 1981.
Career
Lindsay Graham started his career as an officer and judge advocate in the United States Air force in 1982. Graham began his political career in 1992. He became the South Carolina House of
Representatives from the 2nd district in 1992. He served in the office until 1995. In 1998, he was a member of the Judiciary Committee during the impeachment of President Bill Clinton. He ran for the United States Senate election in South Carolina, 2002 and won. He was again elected in United States Senate election in South Carolina, 2008. Since then, he has served as a United States Senator from South Carolina till now.
Personal Life
Talking about Lindsay Graham’s persona and marital, he has never been married nor had children, he doesn’t believe in the institution of marriage. Some news portals often spread news of him being gay, which Graham’s has denied always. He is not a supporter of LGBT community and doesn’t give importance to rumors regarding his sexuality. None of his dating rumors has ever surfaced the internet portals.
He has only family left with him, is his sister Darline, who is 13 years younger to him, he is her legal guardian also.
