Jonathan Alder High School
Jonathan Alder High School is an American public high school located in Madison County, Ohio.
It accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. This co-educational school named after Jonathan Alder, who was a first white settler in the area.
The opening of this school takes place in 1957 and is presently the only high school in the District of Jonathan Alder Local School.
As of July 2018 records, the superintendent of this school is Gary Chapman, whereas their principal is Michael Aurin.
The main competitor of this public school is Marysville High School. The well-known people who have studied in this school are NFL player Donnie Nickey and Trumpet Player Arnett Howard.
The school’s sports team has performed pretty well in the athletics. They are the Baseball State Champions in the years of 1998 and 2010. They even remain undefeated in the 2010 season.
Furthermore, their girls’ team also become the Basketball State Champions in the year 2006. They become runner-up in the State School Football Championships in the same year.
The sports teams of the school participate in many different sports that include bowling, softball, tennis, lacrosse, golf, soccer, cross country, and swimming.
The name of their sports team is Pioneers, and they wear a dress in the colors black & scarlet.
The present building of the school gets occupied in the year 2006. The original place of the school was the other site that now transformed into a junior high school.
The school teaches the students from grades 9 to 12. The school is a proud member of the Central Buckeye Conference.
