Joint Base Charleston is an American military facility located in the city of North Charleston, North Carolina.
It is a joint DoD base that hosts more than 60 agencies. There are more than US$ 7.5 billion in base property maintained by this facility.
The capital assets of this base include two civilian-military airfields, three seaports, 22 miles of coastline, and 39 miles of rail.
There are many unique installation support missions offered by this American facility like The Cooper River dredging, the Harbor Security Patrol, and Transportation Isolation System.
Their mission mainly focuses on the six areas, including multi-mission warfighter support, inter-agency cooperation, deployable logistics, training Naval nuclear operators, inter-agency cooperation, and installation support, airlift & airdrop operations.
