JNTU Anantapur Overview
JNTU fully abbreviated as Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur is an Indian technical university located in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. The state university was established in the year 1946 and has an academic staff of more than 160 individuals. The Vice-Chancellor of the university is Dr. S. Srinivas Kumar. In 2008, the university obtained autonomous status from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, 2008. The motto of the University is Yogah Karmasu kaushalam which means excellence in action is yoga.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University has continuously been ranking in the list of leading technical university in India. The University campus spread in 200 acres. The States University is also the part of International Association of University from 2017-2018. As of 2018 records, the university ranked third in 3rd In Andhra Pradesh.
Notable Alumina
The Notable Alumina of the University is G. Satheesh Reddy and S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. Nowadays G. Satheesh is current chairman of Defence Research
and Development Organization. Alumni S. P Balasubrahmanyam nowadays is a playback singer, voice actor and film producer.

Undergraduate courses provided by the University are Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Control Engineering and many more. The University also provides Post Graduate programs named as Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and many more. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur M.Tech divided into three branches named as Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Engineering.
Sports Programs and Facility
The University regularly participate in the sports program. The JNTUA participated in Physical Directors 7th General Body Meeting. The University provides several facilities to the students named as Library, Cafeteria, Hostel, Gym, Wi-Fi Campus, Auditorium labs and many more.
