Harold Glenn Hamm was born on December 11, 1945 in Lexington, Oklahoma, United States. He was the youngest child of his parents Jane Elizabeth and Leland Albert Hamm; he was the 13th child of his parents. His parents were sharecroppers. Harold Hamm has done a diploma as education, before those he also done studies from Enid High School and after completing his education he began working in continental resource companies and other.
Career
Hamm and Continental Resources pioneered the development of the Bakken Oil Field in Montana and North Dakota using both horizontal drilled wells and Hydraulic fracturing. He became a billionaire and Continental Resources became a major oil producer.
Hamm was awarded with honorary degrees from Northwestern Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma.
Talking about his political involvements, In2012 presidential campaign, Republican candidate Mitt Romney appointed Hamm to serve as his energy advisor.
Personal Life
Harold Hamm was fist married to a woman Judith Ann, the couple together gave birth to three children. But the love association didn’t lasted long and they filed divorced in year 1987 and separated due to personal conflicts.
Harold Hamm second time took marital vows in year 1988 with Sue Ann and they have two daughters Jane and Hilary. Later they also parted ways in year 2014.
He is presently lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with his family.
