His father name is Michele Ferrero, who owned multination Confectionary Corporation Ferrero ad his mother Maria Fissolo was a housewife. He studies at European schools in Brussels, Belgium and later earned the marketing degree from Lebanon Vallege College, United States.

Giovanni Ferrero started working right after completing his education. He joined his family business after coming back from USA. In 1997, his brother and Giovanni took over the controls of his father’s company. Ferrero managed tremendous growth within a few years,
