Drake was born as Aubrey Drake Graham on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario to his parents Dennis Graham and Sandi Graham. His father was a successful drummer and his mother worked as an English teacher and a florist. His father is of African-American ethnicity, while his mother is Canadian Jewish. Drake comes from a very religious background. While still a toddler, his parents divorced, he was raised by his mother. He went to Vaughan Road Academy and Forest Hill Collegiate. He has suffered a lot during childhood and faced hard time at school, because being black Jew.
