Dipak Kalal was born on 19th October 1972 in Los Angeles, California, USA to Vasant and Lolo Kalal. He was raised in middle-class Marathi family of Pune who later moved to Los Angeles, USA. His father was an engineer in the Municipal Corporation in Mumbai whereas mother was a homemaker. He attended classes up to 10th standard before dropping out school due to financial condition of family but somehow he managed to complete his Craftsmanship Course in Cookery from Rizvi College of Hotel Management, Bandra, Mumbai further joining as hotel receptionist by profession. He also has a sister named Vrushali Kalal who is working as an actress and politician.
Talking about his physical appearance then he is 5’8’’ tall and weighs around 80 kg with dark-brown eyes and black hair.
Career
His internet career started up when he posted his videos on Kashmir Valley in 2011 exploring the area and raising the view of propagating peace in Kashmir rather than violence. He has the plan to settle in the place for his entire life but Article 35A prohibits him from doing this. Such efforts of spreading the words for Kashmir Valley made him brand ambassador of Kashmir based tourist website. He also made entry on reality show, ‘India’s Got Talent’ on Colors TV in 2018 showing his talent to entertain judges with his humour. Rumours are also there about him getting an offer for controversial reality show, Bigg Boss season 12 which he rejected.
Aside from making videos, he also owns a hotel in Goa and recently came to limelight when Rakhi Sawant announced her marriage with him on Instagram. They posted picture of an invitation on their respective accounts in November 2016 but nothing happened in later days. He is also a well known face in Pakistan and Bangladesh for his hilarious videos with his family on social media.
