About CH Morris
CH Morris or Christopher Henry Morris is 32 years old South Africa’s right-handed batsman of lower-order and right-arm fast-medium bowler having speed beyond 140kph.
He is currently playing for Titans and has made his international debut against New Zealand in the T20I match in 2012.
Early Life
CH Morris was born on 30th April 1987 in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa as Christopher Henry Morris to WF Morris. His father is also a former South African First Class cricketer who played for Northern Transvaal.
Besides having a family background in the game he took up a cricket career very late at the age of 22 in 2009 playing for North West.
Career
He started his cricket career playing domestic cricket with North West in 2009.
He showed his impressive skills by turning out to be their leading bowler with being the highest wicket-taker in the domestic T20 competitions counting around 21 wickets at 12.66.
This prolific performance gave him a chance to tour in Zimbabwe for T20I but he didn’t make a debut and instead gained knowledge about the game from Allan Donald which counted useful in the 2012 Champions League where he helped Lions to make up to the finals.
His innings in the game brought him a call for the T20I series against New Zealand in December 2012 followed by a Champions Trophy and an ODI against Pakistan.
He even made it to IPL with Chennai Super Kings for US$650,000. He left a brilliant impression on the team and got selected again for 2016 IPL by Delhi Daredevils.
This was also the season for his Test debut against England. He also struck 62 off 38 balls to see South Africa draw level in the fourth match of a five-game rubber against England with a similar thrilling win in a T20.
In 2017, he was included as part of the squad for 2017 ICC Champions Trophy and recently got included for the 2019 Cricket World Cup squad replacing Anrich Nortje. He completed the tournament as leading wicket-taker with thirteen dismissals in eight matches.

He is in marital relationship with Lisa Oosthuizen.
